Another talent dons the black kit. Well at least it means Sky will field a proper contender at the Giro. I wonder what happens to Heano now. Landa can't TT for toffee although no doubt Sky will sort that out along with his weight. Sky have very little home grown talent these days, almost all bought in and developed elsewhere. There should work on nurturing young talent.
I wonder if Landa goes back to his 2014 form or maintains his huge step up to 2015 Giro form. If he does then at 25 then he makes Froome and Porte look old and has a nice career ahead.Contador is the Greatest0 -

Kwiatkowski certainly hasn't looked like he has the engine for 3 weeks, or to be blunt, the climbing ability over the high mountains. However, he's used exceptionally aggressively at Etixx, with rarely a day of sitting in the wheels. Lots of wasted effort.
I'd say getting a rider that can win the biggest one-day and weeklong races while indulging his want to be a GC rider is still a good deal for Sky.0 -
Kwiatowski is one for the long one day short sharp hills. Amstel gold, lombardia, lbl, etc.... Maybe one week races with tts...0
