Perhaps if Froome hadn't knocked up his list with such bile of who was in 'Froome's Little Club' and who was persona non grata, it might have helped.
No beards
No beanies
No riders who thought you were bang out of order0 -

Helped who?
Gotta know what side your bread is buttered. Same in every job.
The Sky way is all about objective decisions, could be argued they missed a strong road captain (esp in 2014 on the tricky classics style stages) which Eisel provides. Not a great management/team message that everything is objective, measured and poured over unless Froome spits his dummy out and overrules the SDB, Kerrison et al0 -

I know it's bee more than just a remour for a while..
'According to reports in Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Mark Cavendish has signed for the MTN-Qhubeka team from next season where he will link up with former HTC-Highroad and Team Sky teammate Bernhard Eisel. Cavendish's move to the Pro-Continental squad has reportedly hinged on the 30-year-old bringing a sponsor across to him as MTN are pulling its sponsorship from the team at the end of the season.'
Renshaw to go too apparently.
MTN have announced a deal with Dimensions Data not sure thats related to Cav in anyway?

The problem with Eisel as a road captain is that he's in the autobus for most of the key stages.
However Brailsford knew he had screwed up by letting Froome have his way and leaving Eisel at home in 2013, he (very) reluctantly acknowledged such to a very tiny number of journos, after the disastrous stage 9 when the team completely lost their heads when Garmin et al started attacking from the start. He knew they came within a whisker of losing Tour that day, and admitted that it wouldn't have happened if Eisel had been there.
Brailsford is a nightmare when it comes to admitting publically when he's wrong. But he did that time if only to a tiny audience.0 -

Hmm...sure you haven't been hanging around Mt Teide, looking as though you've just reeled of a Kerro 'gentle' program of hill repeats? *suspicious face*0 -
String signings for Sky. Inxausti is a really solid rider. Be interesting to see their Giro team again.0

Sky confirm Kwiato signing. That's one credibility-shattering bullet dodged for those of us who swore it was done months ago

^apologies if it's been done before, but what is Kwia's role at Sky?
Just the Classics? Replacing Porte for one of the GTs?
After a great start very disappointing WC season - why was this?0 -
