Same with Barguil.
I get the impression he might be quite happy riding on a foreign team and doing his own thing. Doesn't sound like he has the appetite for a genuine tilt at a GC win, so perhaps hilly classics and doing what he can on GC in July sans mountain train might be what he wants.
edit: Agree Tom D will probs be moving on. Though that might also depend on what happens with Kittel. - not sure he's as happy as the proverbial messy pig right now.
Lawson Craddock looks worse on a bike than any professional rider I have ever seen. It's like he never saw one before he signed a pro contract."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Danny Van Poppel told bye bye by TREK despite big win at the Vuelta. Wonder how his brother feels about the team now?0

Sounds harsh, but perhaps they have another big sprinter lined up.
BTW any more news on Cav?It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.0 -

They have Stuyven, and have Bonifazio for next year too. As well as Nizzolo.
I do think they are missing a trick as DvP has lots of potential.0 -
DvP - Could do well in the one day races after seeing how well Degenkolb and Kristoff did earlier this year.0

Degenkolb out of contract at the end of next year too. G-A could look very, very different in 2017.0 -
Chris Anker Sorensen to Fortuneo Vital Concept (new name of Bretagne-Seche Environnment). Delighted with this. Should be a great fit.0

Good. Like I've said before, Sky's not for every rider and vice versa, but it suits Phil D, Mikel Nieve, Ian Boswell etc0 -

UCI reforms take effect from 2017 (three year licenses etc). Interesting piece suggesting that it's impacting the transfer market... http://cyclingtips.com.au/2015/09/world-tour-reforms-on-their-way-but-what-does-it-mean-for-rider-contracts-and-the-transfer-market/0

Who are they losing to accomodate the new guys?
Wiggins, Porte ... I cant think of any more that have been confrimed/strongly rumoured from the initial '15 roster.2020/2021/2022 Metric Century Challenge Winner0 -

Nah, we discussed it but then it was Theuns that had the confirmed contract with Trek.disgruntledgoat wrote:Very good for Theuns. Any news on Wallays moving up to WT as well?
Was just going to ask that. Paris-Tours and Dwaars door should make him pretty in demand, you'd think.0 -

In other news, Stybar has a new 2 year deal, Edward Theuns going to Trek next year along with the new Belgian champ, meaning Jelle Wallys will sign with Lotto, where Jens Debeusschere has just got a new 3 year deal.

Yeah, yeah, ok, chapeau... but would have helped if you'd spelt his name correctly0 -

These all signed at the same time as Rowe did in 2013, don't imagine they were given longer than Rowe was: Salvatore Puccio, Sergio Henao, Chris Sutton, Danny Pate and Xabier Zandio.
If Kwia is coming in the Henao leaving makes sense, the other 4 are pointless riders anyway0 -
