Sky announce on SM that they will announce 6 riders this week.
Who are they losing to accomodate the new guys?
Wiggins, Porte ... I cant think of any more that have been confrimed/strongly rumoured from the initial '15 roster.
These all signed at the same time as Rowe did in 2013, don't imagine they were given longer than Rowe was: Salvatore Puccio, Sergio Henao, Chris Sutton, Danny Pate and Xabier Zandio.
If Kwia is coming in the Henao leaving makes sense, the other 4 are pointless riders anyway
Are you familiar with what domestiques do?0 -

Cant confirm, but I'd look for the likes of Matt Gibson, Nathan Draper, and generally a mix of Academy and ODP lads, with perhaps a couple of others in addition. If Scott Davies moves there too, he's got all the necessaries to 'do a Doull' (so does Chris Lawless, for that matter)0 -
Jeez I need to do some research on pro cyclists. Never heard of Zandio!0

Porte can help out....http://www.cyclingquotes.net/news/porte_kiryienka_and_zandio_were_incredible/?acceptCookie=1?acceptCookie=1
I read another interview with Porte earlier this year in which he described Zandio as one of the best and strongest riders in the peloton - but as with so many domestiques, especially those who do their stuff before the TV coverage kicks in, his efforts often go unseen by fans.0 -

You're right, I retract Puccio.0 -

Yes. This wasn't a comment on the job they do really, more on the lack of pleasure they bring me. I think they are pointless.0 -

You didn't take long to come back FF
Stick to posting only photos and this forum will remain the better place it has been for the last week0 -

It's like ITV revealing that one of the two presenters of their new game show is Ant from Ant and Dec and they'll reveal the other in a few days.Twitter: @RichN950 -

Probably not one of Brailsford's key criteria.Napoleon, don't be jealous that I've been chatting online with babes all day. Besides, we both know that I'm training to be a cage fighter.0 -
Tomasz Marczynski and Rafael Valls both are moving to Lotto Soudal. Valls from Lampre, and Marczynski after a year at Torku-Sekorspor, although obviously he has ridden for Ceramica Flaminia, CCC and Vacansoleil in the past.
Intended to bolster Lotto's week long stage racing team, although Marczynski comes across as a weird choice given they have Tony Gallopin and Tim Wellens who are both decent in these types of races. There are better stage racers on the market too.0 -

They're building up in a crescendo, ready to tap into the awesome shock and awe that will greet the Kwiato announcement
Ta-da!0 -
Surely its better to announce the current world champ rather than former if he doesnt win Sunday?!0
-
I know it's bee more than just a remour for a while..
'According to reports in Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Mark Cavendish has signed for the MTN-Qhubeka team from next season where he will link up with former HTC-Highroad and Team Sky teammate Bernhard Eisel. Cavendish's move to the Pro-Continental squad has reportedly hinged on the 30-year-old bringing a sponsor across to him as MTN are pulling its sponsorship from the team at the end of the season.'
Renshaw to go too apparently.0 -

That would look a bit needy though, surely."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

At least Eisel will be allowed to ride his beloved TdF again0 -
-
You make it sound unusual a rider wants to ride the Tour!
Complete opposite. Eisel adores the Tour, and it's been clear that it's frustrated him that he'd never ride it again with Sky (2014 being the exception when Brailsford forced the issue with Froome). I've got total sympathy with Eisel.0 -

Should have learned to get on with Froome etc
Perhaps if Froome hadn't knocked up his list with such bile of who was in 'Froome's Little Club' and who was persona non grata, it might have helped.0 -

There must be a job somewhere with no office politics..."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"
