Perhaps they can tell the rest of the top 6 to stop trying too"A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

I did hear exactly the same thing from a couple of Norwich fans, one just last week and I remember someone else saying the same thing a few years ago when Lambert had them winning League One and the Championship in successive seasons.0

My biggest fear is that if the Cherries do get promoted, they will go the same way as Blackpool. Aparently there is a wealthy Russian bankrolling AFCB at the moment, and I cannot help think that he will trouser the TV cash and parachute payment when the inevitable relegation the following season happens.
I can see the point of that Boro fans thoughts about not getting promotion. It is sometimes better to know your level, be competitive and win games to give the supporters some cheer.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -
Boros level is the PL though"A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

And why I am in two minds. Nobody really knows why this Russian (Maxim Demin) is involved with AFCB. I do know that he has links to the previous owner Eddie Mitchell, who is a really dodgy piece of work. Mitchell is a developer in Sandbanks and I know that he is building this Demin a new house in St Johns Wood, London.
I just have a really nasty suspicion that Cherries will get fleeced.
On the bright side, Eddie Howe should end up as a Premiership manager, he is clearly a very talented coach. My money is on him becoming the next Spurs manager.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -

Would have been more if Strachan hadn't brought in the Scottish Sunday league players."A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

Seems a long time since we were winning the league cup, swanning around in Europe for a couple of seasons and beating Man City 8-1. In those Days Gibson cash could just about mix it with the big boys - now there are Arabs and wealthy Americans I can't see chemical haulage profits keeping us up at the sharp end of the premiership.
If we create as many chances as we did at Watford it will be academic anyway as we won't make it through the playoffs.Bianchi Infinito CV

We seem scared of the other top teams. We can play expansive attacking football when we feel like it. We could do with another quality winger and a playmaker in the centre of the park."A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

Have to say, I'm hoping for my local team to win this one. I don't think that we will catch you, but Brighton are capable of a surprise result.0 -

My actual local team is Eastbourne Borough and I couldn't tell you who they are playing.
TBH all I'm hoping is that Wolves win and the Derby v Brentford match is a draw, any other top of the table teams losing is a bonus.0 -

I hear there was a pitch invasion at Priory Lane the other week. The policeman said "Look, go home". So he did.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Watched the first half. Bournemouth looked a shadow of the free flowing attacking football that they normally play. Gave the ball away and looked very pedestrian. Brighton looked the better of the two. Decided to watch the Masters instead. And only changed back during the adverts, which conveniently coincided with Kermogants superb freekick (1-0) and then Wilsons excellent goal (2-0). Note to self. Do not watch anymore matches live.
Now 4 points clear.
You lot to play tomorrow.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -

By 5 tomorrow it will be 'as you were'. Cannot see any upsets for Watford, Norwich or Boro. Derby got a sticky tie against Brentford and Wolves v Brum is always going to be a tester.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0

Got two big valves to install at work, with a bit of luck we'll done my lunch and I can toss it off and watch the footie"A cyclist has nothing to lose but his chain"

UTFB Only 2 points between the top four - its going to be a nail biting finish to the season at this rate."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0

Another frustrating game for us. I was shocked at the number of passes, crosses and shots from the muff that were way off. Ultimately deserved the win though. Still a scrap up top you can't take your eyes off. Derby really got out of jail earlier. Wanted Wolves to win. Can't wait for Watford at home, last game. If they need a win to guarantee promotion, they'll bloody well muller us.0

As I said. It's as you were gentlemen.
Derby flippin lucky today and so too were Norwich to get the winning goal in 3rd of extra time.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -
Not a good weekend for us, played rubbish. Still, easy match for us tomorrow night.0

Should be an interesting game. As Stevo knows, his beloved Boro (or is it Chelsea) have struggled against the top sides this season.Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0 -
