Very surprised this is not Sky TV live match on Fri Eve or Sat Lunch.

Wish it was... We are on TV Friday night against Derby, can see a repeat of the 5-0 to them as we are she-ite on TV.

Am rooting for Wolves. Derby having a bad run at moment so hopeful for you.

    0-0

Boro defence is too organised and both teams not wanting to take risks.

With 8 of the top 9 playing each other this weekend, a win for any team is huge. Just hope that we don't embarrass ourselves tomorrow night.

Told you. Well done. Hornets, Smoggies, Cherries and Canaries are most grateful.

Now hoping that you beat Boro and the other two matches are draws, with Brentford losing.

We were lucky tonight with Batth not getting sent off and their goalie making an absolute howler of an own goal. However, 32% possesion, 3 shots on goal, only tells part of the story. Fact is, we got the ball in the back of the net twice and they didn't.
If we get in the playoffs, then I am hoping for tonights luck, rather than our luck against Bournemouth...

I'll stick my neck out and say Boro to pop the cherries tomorrow. We've not lost against them since 1987.

Nothing against Boro, but the luck we've had against Bournemouth, I'd rather play you in the play offs if we get there. Would just be happy to get there though as I thought we would finish about 11th or 12th this season.

Not many games left, but wouldn't bet against, or for, any team getting promoted in the top 8.

That would be when Cherries beat you 3-0 at Dean Court in the old 3rd Div. I was there, and for some misguided reason took the future Mrs Goo. Her only trip to a professional football match.
Think it will be very close run thing today, and unfortunately I think Boro will run out as winners by 2 clear goals. That 8l00dy Bamford chap is doing great for you.

It's tighter than a Gnats a** at the top. Most of the top teams playing each other again in two weeks time.

Cherry jam today  Fortunately, based on past history the next time you're scheduled to beat us is 2043.

Well played the cherries today, rode their luck with a couple of dubious penalties by all accounts.

Watford Boro on Easter Monday is the next massive game

I actually fear Norwich, they have a fairly easy run in (bar playing Boro).
It's all going down to the last day I reckon.

UTFB - surely we can do Wigan. Let's. See if the Boro fans sing You're just a town full of racists...' again. :)

Yet another big day in the Championship. I would expect to see Boro top of the pile by tonight. Cannot see Wigan getting anything out of the game.

Cherries away to Ipswich, is their last top of the table clash in the run in. Kenwyn Jones to start?

Derby v Watford is going to be a really tasty match. I would hope that Rams can get a result as some players are returning back from injury. Best result for Cherries and Boro is a draw.

Fulham v Brentford - Home win

    Forest v Wolves - Draw

Brighton v Norwich - Away win. Canaries seem to be timing things to perfection.

We're top of the league - for now anyway.

C'mon the Tractor Boys (and McLarens lot) :)

Watford convincingly beating Boro and even better news is that Leadbitter will miss Boro's game against Wolves :-)

If we manage to beat dirty Leeds, then at worst we will be 5 points off an automatic place. Stranger things have happened.... (although we will probably lose tonight..)

Can we blow the final whistles now with Bournemouth and Ipswich losing and Derby drawing? Bournemouth have just got a got back.

Went to see Watford BOro. Boro had majority of the play in 1st half with creating much, Watford hit us with two clinical finishes, we never looked like scoring. fluffing our lines big style in these crucial away games at top 6 rivals.

Edit Bournemouth have got it back to 2-2 at HT. Cmon you Brummies :D

  • We were shite. Only Friend looked like he was trying. Adam Reach managed to hide for 90 minutes. Not a performance that will get us promoted.

Looking at the fixtures left for the top 4 teams, I would say that Boro have blown it and it is between the other three. Still really close between the top 8 though.
  • Karanka needs to play the squads that beat Derby and Ipswich. Fannying around now is not what we need.

Cherries seem to make hard work of middle to low placed teams. Norwich are really the team in form now, flying along, as are Watford. Wolves now back in the mix.

Oh no we're not. Ignore us. We are nowhere near getting into a promotion place. Nothing to see here...

Boro's strategy is working perfectly I reckon:
