    You don't need to listen to World Service yet to find out what's happening in Scotland, you know.

    Salmon has wandering hands, allegedly, and Sturgeon and the SNP took action against him, throwing him out of the party. Inconveniently for them, he has been found not guilty in court.

    Essentially, the SNP increasingly regarded him as an embarrassment, because he was hosting a talk show on the famous balanced news station Russia Today and, in time honoured "too popular to criticise" politician manner, disregarded due process.

    But she's a saint and her covid policies have made Scotland basically exactly the same as England when weighted by population density, so that's okay.
