    1 Rodriguez, 2 Froome, 3 Evans, 4 Contador, 5 Nibali.

That is a quality finish list!
  • Hmm I wonder who leads the GC. Contador was 32 secs down, Nibali 33, Froome 36, Evans 40 secs.

Always going to be obvious if you take J-~Rod that close to the finish. He has a good kick on him in the final

Is Froome the new leader? (At least of those five riders). What are the time bonuses? He was 4s behind Contador and 3 behind Nibali.

  • So Valverde, Rodriguez and Contador (Vuelta podium) all have wins this year.

  • Taking a while for today's top 10, never mind GC standings, to be announced

Great to see the top GC guys in fine fettle so early
  • So Valverde, Rodriguez and Contador (Vuelta podium) all have wins this year.

I like the fact that noone seems to know what the bonus seconds actually are! Even Team Skys official twitter doesn't know if Froome is the race leader or not.

Think its more the fact that they're waiting for the provisional results at least. Bonus secs are one thing, the official time gaps are another
  • Froome is the leader
    Contador is the Greatest
  • Stage 4: 1 Rodriguez 2 Froome +4 3. Evans +22 4. Contador +27 5. Nibali +36

Good stuff from Froome, have to say

Allez Froome dog etc... Let joy be unconfined

  • There's a cracking pic on the TourofOman_live twitter feed of J-Rod in the last few metres with Fenton closing in....

....in someone else can post it, cos I'm a luddite

Fine result for Christopher. If he has anything like 2012 form, Alberto has his hands full this year.

Tragic lack of coverage for this race, except for FFS: French Fighter Special. Gripping.

  • Contador a tad off the pace there.

Well there you go, proof positive that the Mighty Froome would have walked last years TdF if only the dastardly Wiggins hadn't spiked his guns.

Oh, sorry, this isn't Twitter is it?

How long before 21 year old Kenny Elissonde is proclaimed the saviour of French cycling (v12.0)?

Pinot is the saviour, but Elissonde is really promising.
