Take the average ..... if you take the lowest it will start giving you an eating disorder as you start to miss drinks or food just to get that lower dehydrated weight for the weigh in
Using the average means any stupidity on your part is a waste of time ..... long term weight loss will lead to a competitive eating disorder !!!!0 -
I've settled that I'll always be between 164 - 170 lbs I just need to keep an eye on the upper limit, it's pretty easy.

weighed in at 71.n all this week, so can safely call 72kg as my weight ..... only 2kg to go will I make it to 70kg, or decide that I am scrawny enough and start eating the cake again .. lst 4.8kg this year though, that's 14 cans of coke ..... I don't look "that" different, its amazing how much the body can hide it my spreading it evenly over my gut !0 -

I have been eating like a horse (But not as messily) this week, not least due to an FTP test on Tuesday, and a lighter ride yesterday still had me eating shedloads.
Today I have had 6 slices of bread for lunch, with Tuna and what have you filling.
Here's a weird one, for ages I sat at 68, then in recent weeks it seems to have stablised at 67ish, this morning was the first morning I had remembered I was going to try and weigh myself more frequently and average it, and it came in at 65......
Checked the scales were stable and flat (Hard floor) zeroed it, and went again, and the same.
Very confused, and not sure if it's just the scales are acting weird - not been eating lightly, or better than any other week, but will see what it is over the weekend, thinking it might just be some weird anomaly, or I was a bit de-hydrated is probably the most likely conclusion - not that I feel it at present.Felt F70 05 (Turbo)

I get the same thing .... don't seem to be loosing weight, then it suddelny drops of after a weekend binge ??? .... never figured it out, but its consistent .. unless I bing EVERY weekend, then I gain weight.
but a re-feed once a month does seem to spur on the loss0 -
I've never seen such a dramatic loss - but maybe there is something in what you say.
Maybe I should just eat more :?
*When I went shopping this week I picked up three items:
Chocolate and Hazelnut Spread
6 pack of own brand Marathons (Yes I call them that)
7 pack of Marathon ice creams

Difficult to visualise other riders without knowing height e.g. fat daddy claims to be fat but is 8kg lighter than me. I'm 1.89 (6'2"), perhaps he is a bit shorter. I know I'm a latecomer to this particular party but could we consider adding another column?FCN = 40 -

15 lbs sounds and looks far more than 6.8.
I think that eating lots and loosing weight business is all about feeding the engine. It's a bit like missing breakfast; the body shuts down and stores whatever you next eat yet when you eat breakfast, the 'system' stays in full swing and your body doesn't store the intake, it burns it.
It's just the 'feeding the engine' the right stuff that's the tricky bit.
I liken it to a woodburner. Feed it dry stuff regularly and keep it going, and it becomes all consuming. Stick soggy, wet stuff and it slows down and never really get's going.
If we swap the words 'dry stuff' with veg., high fibre foodstuffs, fruit, certain starches, lean proteins and 'soggy, wet stuff'' with saturated fats, meats, processed foods etc etc, than we clarify the metaphor.
That's my theory anyway.
The other less known part of the theory is if you keep the log burner going lickety split, you can chuck the odd bit of carrot cake, gateaux, scones with clotted cream and jam etc ... 'cos it will just burn up anyway.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

If you weighed yourself in the old imperial 'Hundred weight' itb, you would only weigh 1.51. Good innit?
