  • Well this is embarrassing. Not been this heavy since I dropped from 107kg through to 76kg in 2012.

We seem to be going for the same target. I started at 80kg last year and only lost 2.6kg, but I admit I wasn't really trying hard. I intend to leave the target as is and see how close to 70kg I can get this year. And trying to be more structured about it this year.

I'm trying to get back down to 10 stone in old money, and given that my starting weight on Jan 2nd was 10st 11lbs, my target is exactly 5kg which is a nice round number.

Couple of years ago I'd blobbed to 11st 4lbs after Christmas and managed to shift it all - 18lbs / 8.2kg, most of which which was surprisingly easy (the last kilo was harder)

Took me one deleted post and 5 edits to get it right. I'd started out in imperial units but I've gone metric now.

And I keep forgetting to use the scroll bar and think my entry has been deleted...

Only just figured it out myself:

On the table click 'Select all' next to 'Code'.
    Right click and 'Copy'
Go to a new reply in the thread and in the reply window you'll see the word 'Code'.
Click it and you'll see 'Code' repeated in two square brackets.
Your cursor should automatically be between the first closing bracket and the 2nd opening bracket ie ]here[ and you'll get everyone else's table.
Then you add yours at the bottom. The biggest pain is figuring out how many dots you need to make it align.
I think to avoid having to eat tofu, just make sure you copy the latest table.

ETA: don't forget you can use the 'Preview' button to ensure you don't screw it up. And don't do what I did, which was hitting " instead of the pen to edit my post. I managed to duplicate my table twice.

I'm in. I was horrified when I got on the scales a few days ago. I used to be a proper fat lad about 5 years ago at 15st 4lbs and have been as low as 11st 8lbs in recent times, just through cycling. Somewhat ashamed to have let it slip by a stone, mostly down to too many dinners and drinks through Nov/Dec.

I've given up fighting it. Weight gain during December is more predictable than the weather; it would suck all the pleasure out of Christmas for me to try to limit my eating and drinking. And having gorged to excess for virtually 4 weeks I find it all the easier to resist the temptation now. Sitting right in my line of sight I have a large Toblerone, a packet of custard creams and a selection box, and I'm watching in mild amusement at my colleagues who cannot help themselves :D
