    Ok so this week has been easy and really good.

    I've dropped 2kg, yet still eaten on average 2000 calories each day this week

    I've been aiming for about -500 calories a day, however I've only dropped 0.2kg at the moment, must have been a dehydrated start point, hoping for better next week.

  • Adding up all I ate yeasterday it comes to give or take 1900 cal... cycled 2 hours, must have used around 3 K calories in total during the day... seems a big deficit to gap with body fat... :shock:

    Is there a 'Silly Commute Weight Gain' thread? My commute is only 9km each way, so i don't burn much, but it makes me hungry and i tend to overeat in the afternoon and in the evening.

    Thats my problem as well. Going to weight myself Monday to do a like for like compare, but with the number of birthdays at work this week, avoiding cakes has been a very difficult challenge!
    Intent on Cycling Commuting on a budget, but keep on breaking/crashing/finding nice stuff to buy.

    My opening reading was ambitious too. Back up to 84kg at the moment after a bad couple of days. Think my new year's resolution should have been to boycott cinema pick n mix.

    Progress is the key... if you don't see results, you are likely to give up.
    First week is bad, constantly hungry, then the body seems to adjust and now it's fine, I don't go to bed hungry. On my way home yeasterday I had use a gel, as the stiff headwind mixed with low glycogen was killing me

    went down to 167 at the beginning of the week but ate and drank loads more on purpose to get my weight loss to 1-2 lbs a week, looking good so far lets hope this weekend doesnt reverse that.

    On the positive side, here's 1500 KCal ready to be replenished at the local Indian... first meal out in 3 weeks... having Cobra-cravings :D

    22 miles on road on my steel mtb which garmin says 750ft yet i rode the same route on my road bike this Wednesday and it reported 1350ft
