As a contractor, I have lost a days wages for an unwanted random monday off work but I will be spending it mowing the lawn/cutting hedges and filling my green bin, which will be collected as usual on Wednesday.

Fairish point, but British sherry was truly execrable (think Harvey's Bristol Cream but lacking the 'subtlety' of the overpowering saccharine sweetness and with a bit of a tangy edge), which is kind of Brexit in a nutshell.1 -
