    Surely Nibali doesn't care about finishing in the lower reaches of the top ten. Could it be that they want to string the race out over the top, so Nibali can go clear on the descent?

    It's a twofer I guess ...but it is a bit mediocre

    "peloton" - there's about 12 left.

    Carapaz has Sivakov only, someone trying to stay with Nibali seems likely to have a problem.
