Serious headwind here. They're not looking quite as fresh as Alberto did all those years ago.

Tactics worked in Kruiswijk's favour there.
  • That felt like a stage at the end of the 3 weeks, not the start.
  • Still time for people to withdraw and do the traditional thing of trying to save their season with the vuelta, I suppose...

Old school racing there. No team tactics just every man for himself and only Stage 3. One of the strangest stages I've seen.

Not sure why Thomas hasn't got in the car to be honest.
  • So, is pink the national colour of Ecuador?

    Recover and stages?
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I'd be amazed. It would be the biggest recovery since Bertie's magic healing leg

    Yes.
I am surprised by that, given the time bonuses.

He can abandon the Giro and have a slot on the Vuelta team.
I think Froome's is going free.

Pello Bilbao owning the Haimar Zubeldia classification at the Giro once more.

Can he? The races overlap so he'd have needed special permission in the past?

This stage is going to take some serious digesting. Some very strange happenings indeed. PTP carnage.

Thats his best option assuming its a mild injury . Hit a stray bottle in the neutral.according to eisel. And to think Two days ago the journalists where saying the race was won! This puts Nibali in a strong position now .

He did. Quite early on in fact. Jumbo tried to chase him down without much success, then Fulgsang caused the selection behind.
