Hang on, is that Yates off the back too?
  • This is really odd. They look like it's the final week and they're all knackered.

I seem to remember some questioning why others favoured the Giro over all other GTs.
    Today is a prime example.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

How did Castroviejo lose 7 minutes? I thought he might have been the back up plan.
  • Elaine Dickinson: Well, we had a choice of steak or fish.
Nibali: Yes, yes, I remember, I had lasagna
  • Man I so ought to write the script for Bicycle! some time

Hopefully Caceido will hang on to win this.

So I switched over to Dutch commentary on GCN App. And immediately noticeable how much less they talk.

Thomas riding with his kit pinned together with safety pins. Must have been a bit off...

    Wonder what's wrong with Yates

If you want to be a back up rider then you really shouldn’t take a day off on a sprint stage.

Trust Jumbo to chase Kelderman down. He chose to go to Bora over them.
  • It's one hell of a landscape up the top there, isn't it?

Almeida could be in for the win as its a youngsters year.

Can't recall seeing such an uncontrolled mountain finish in years. I guess there's suddenly a load of people realising they could win this race after all.

Brian Smith going on about Caicedo getting caught when the gap is going out all the time.
  • LOL
    Nibali and Pozzovivo

  • Lovely attack from Nibali there - place the echelon into the layby, then attack just as it ends and the following riders suddenly notice they're running out of road as the layby finishes.

Come on Steven - i know it's a bit early for you to be firing but get back on there.
  • Inside of 3 days and the Giro is over and the Veteran's Giro has begun.
