    Victory by an innings and 76 runs. I thought England might be letting the game slip away a bit yesterday but good tactics from Root to save the new ball for this morning by the looks of it.

    The fact Anderson only got one, is significant for me, as the others stepped up.

    Cameo ended, the next ball England dropped the batsmen but the non-striker got himself run out without facing a ball then two balls later it was all over. Without that 57 off 36 balls from Thakur it would have been very bad for India again. As it stands 191 all out isn't great but a lot of teams would take their chances at that with England's batting.

    Only the night watchman gone this morning thus far but the next couple of hours going to be crucial. Our batting line up does look a bit stronger on paper in this test.

    And we've got to bat last. Always the danger when inserting the opposition. Need to get a reasonable first innings lead.

    Looks to be difficult with the new ball, easier later. England got 19 overs with this one to get a lead.

    Been switching between this and the bike racing. I really think gc race commentary should be a lot like test cricket commentary.
