Quite frightening to see how little idea, and therefore how little concern young adults have towards this pending Omicron threat.
I went to Morrisons this morning and it was moderately busy. A fair number of young people were shopping, but I didn’t see one who was wearing a mask.

    Yolo I guess
  • A lockdown after Christmas will be a sign of failure.

    100% happening.

Cannot run a health system with that influx combined with that number of hospital staff off with corona.
I'm not convinced they will wait until next weekend, unless the numbers miraculously drop off because of behaviour change.
Johnson will categorically not shut down Christmas.

His supporters don’t care for dead bodies and neither does he.
The smart money is on it being the 27th December.

Currently wondering how long it will be until BJ has to make an unplanned appearance on TV to say "I'm sorry but....".

Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday next week. He’s had Rishi doing the financials, as soon as they are sorted, Boris can pull the trigger.
    Weird

Not really, it’s fairly simple. The government know that when they lock us down, they will need to provide financial support to the effected businesses, or those ( tax paying ) businesses will fail. Rishi Sunak is the chancellor of the exchequer, and is in control of the public finances. Rishi does the maths, tells Boris what’s what, then Boris locks us down again. I just hope Rishi can secure the loans, because if not, a lot of people are going to lose their businesses, which I guess is preferable to a lot more people losing their lives.

I have some sympathy for that provided they are not putting someone else at risk. I'd imagine it is less likely that a 20 year would be seriously ill from covid than from malaria or dengue, and most are happy enough with that risk to yolo all over the world.

No it's weird how it disagrees with your other post directly above. Almost like your just posting enough random crap that whatever date eventually gets selected you can claim you got it right.

Their 'ignore' facility has been overridden by the Gates conspiracy 5g implant. Innit.

It's true, I do. But you do know the only reason he posts his rubbish here is to get a reply? I've no idea what he gets out of it, but it's just a waste of space for the rest of humanity.

Case numbers down too, though will hold my breath for a day or two as I think Sunday case numbers are usually a bit lower

I think knowing he's annoying you will be plenty enough for him. And we all know that's happening, reply or not.

Case numbers are only very high rather than quickly becoming eye watering.

There's still time, but the London numbers doubled in two days, but haven't continued at anything like that rate. I hope behaviour changes have made a difference. And that it is less severe for those who do catch it.

I get more annoyed by people replying. Trolls really do give up if no-one takes the bait. I actually feel slightly sorry for someone that bothers to write such rubbish for no payment. At least Telegraph writers get paid for their bilge.

25 million boosters is a good chunk of the Uk (im still not eligible😐) so there should be no need to lockdown everything just in case.
    Deaths are still trending down.

Got my booster at a walk in centre in Surbiton today, in and out in 15 minutes, very slick.
I was booked in for the 29th December anyway but good to get it a bit earlier.

They have a covered bike rack right outside the door as well, with the marshals stood either side of it like elderly security guards.

No it's weird how it disagrees with your other post directly above. Almost like your just posting enough random censored that whatever date eventually gets selected you can claim you got it right.
Not at all. It’s only ever been the 23rd, 27th of December or the 4th of January. The 27th December is in front right now. I suggest you learn to read before you post:

So Monday being 20th December and Wednesday 22nd clearly you need to buy this year’s calendar. Or learn to read.

In fairness, there's a lot of people's jobs that, if photographed, would look to me not at all like work.

If it makes ya feel better (corona restrictions notwithstanding) I have targets for the number of breakfasts and lunches I have with clients and candidates. 🙃🙃
