    Maybe not but you should have at least had the good sense to ask Merlin what they ve done and given them a chance to put right any perceived wrong doing to your satisfaction.

    You paid by CC, so you dont need to settle your acc for at least 4weeks, giving the retailer plenty of time to credit your account at no loss to you.

    I've discovered that certain members of this forum have a stinky attitude problem. They're always seeking to find fault with people, even when it is abundantly clear that the fault is not theirs. A retailer made an unauthorised debit from my account, it's as simple as that, yet apparently it's my fault........

You screwed up your ordering because you didn't think about what you wanted before placing the order, you then tried to cancel your two seperate orders and you placed a third order that combined the two original orders. Then, having made a pigs ear of the whole thing you go on a public forum to slag off a company that have done nothing wrong. You are a complete waster as I said, companies don't need business from idiots like you because servicing your needs costs them more than they make.

    Not at all, just make the odd purchase from them.I actually had to change my last order (my mistake) and phoned them during office hours which they resolved straight away.

    I would get back to your village lad, it will be missing you.

    You authorised the orders - all three of them. That's why the money was taken. It's your fault - not them.
    And as to them finishing at 430 - so what ? They advertise it as such. Again your fault for ringing after they've closed.

    And why shouldn't I be a bit miffed they clock off much earlier than every other business when I have a problem (OF THEIR MAKING), that I want them to sort out? And hot is that my "fault" exactly?

    So even you admit that SOME cases it will be taken earlier. So why are you so upset ?
  • Bungle have you considered being a little more organised with your purchases and potentially financial management if you are so incompetent at online shopping?

    I messed up an order at Merlin and they told me how to resolve it. Super helpful people so probably for the best that muppets such as yourself don't waste their time. It'll be a gift to them that you don't shop there again.

    yeah i have, i see a debit of £xxx.xx and then a credit of £xxx.xx shortly afterwards, my monthly bill then reflects this... anyone would think Merlin told you to xxxx off and they wont refund you..... which is likely if they ever read your polemic against them.

  • Nothing but good service from Merlin here, in fact I have switched to them after wiggle/CRC sodding around with mickey mouse couriers.
    I think you're getting a lot of flack becuase the title of your thread sounds like they haven't resolved something after several weeks. It's a little over the top IMHO.

    Completely agree Veronese, after 46 years in the retail sector I have had my fill of customers who in most cases "know the industry better than you" despite the fact they have never worked in it.
