Yeah, apparently. Altitude training ahead of the Ardennes classics.

Gilbert complaining it takes longer to get form now he's older.

I think he's expecting to peak for Liege. Here's hoping.

I thought Roubaix was his big goal. #StriveForFive and such nonsense.

He was being quite coy about that post Flanders.

I got the impression he's looking forward to Liege.

I’m not surprised. It must be exciting for riders in his position wondering where they’re going to place behind Valverde.

I was going to pick him for PTP. I'll go for Stybar instead then.

I've seen a forecast for 50% chance of light rain in the early hours of the morning, then from mid-morning on. Here's hoping....

    I'd wait for the forecast.

Guys like GvA go much better when it's warm.

But who in Quick Step goes better when it's warm?

    Yeah tricky.

TBH EW on Stybar for Roubaix is almost a no-brainer.

I can't see past Terpstra personally, but I've been having a moment this week.

PR suits Terpstra better than RVV does.

You don't think he's being deliberately coy?

He's been looking very strong so far, I was going to pick him for P-R.

Talking of weather, strong winds are predicted tomorrow for Sprinterprijs

So I may have to deselect Kittel

Gilbert's only ridden Roubaix once and that was in 2007.

The way Gilbert shut down the chase and defended for Terpstra in the RVV seemed like Niki gets Flanders and Gilbert gets to try for PR.

He's always seemed to miss out on echelons in the past. And I expect Katusha to be worse at dealing with them than his previous teams.

Boonen seems like he’s on his way to emulating De Vlaeminck as a pundit as well.
