Very encouraging and one more still to be announced. That said, not surprising as they recruit a majority of their youngsters from the BC set up, which in turn recruits the best kids in the country. Unlike some of the domestic Conti teams they also try to get teams into Europe on a regular basis to experience higher level racing. Additionally, the team management have plenty of contacts in the WT & PC teams to enable doors to be opened.

    For sure

Placing more priority on getting into Tour of Croatia (where Knox in particular rode so well up amongst WT and PCS teams), Tour Alsace etc, than riding TS and fielding full strength teams at every NRS in this country, has been the way to go

I've tried to think, but what's TS and NRS? National Race Series is my guess but not sure

He was never the same after Weylandts died

Or he was at his peak the year Weylandt died and his form disappeared quicker than most.

No doubt he was affected (who wouldn't be?) but he won his Tour stage after Weylandt had died

For those who will miss Contador not for his riding, but for all the beef puns, fear not:

Trek have signed u23 rider Niklas Eg, poaching him off a number of other teams scrambling for his signature.
