Yeah, start on a Dirk 2 as a companion bike for Dirk, a kind of Edwina Merckx, I have a contender for you...

^ I seem to recall that photo from the OCD thread.
Dynamo but no lights. I think it could be wired to his testicles via a speed unit. Go below 20mph over 3 hours and bzzzzzzt.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
Back OT (Imholz bike 'build' in case you forgot)...
My wheels are from 1978, the rim tape is cotton

Never you heathen! Never! HE is immortal. Stronger than 10,000 beards of Odin and faster than a million gazelles.
Once THE MIGHTY HAMMER OF POWER has been wielded HE will crush the heathens.
Anyhow, HE has two new companions: the Peugeot/Vitus and a mint 2007 Madone 5.5 SL that I got for nothing last Monday (well, frame, forks, headset, b/b). I'm not really a Madone fan but this is in dark grey and actually really nice. Full Rival of Force (if budget allows) Carbonzone wheels, job jobbed.Postby team47b » Sun Jun 28, 2015 11:53 am

10 kg's!!
Now whilst I was rotating that ^ image, it got me thinking and wots I thought was like a bolt of lightening. As you are good at photoshop, I think that this bike is a figment of your imagination - a dream. A lovely dream but a dream nonetheless.
Will you eventually copy paste all the bits onto the first pic? I think that would be quicker. It explains why we get pics of bits but rarely the whole thing.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
now there's an idea
Digital bike building that is, not chapatti making, although now I'm thinking about going out for curry!
Can't you use plaster like anyone else on PPP, just add turmeric to save on the need for paintingmy isetta is a 300cc bike0 -
Shall I add some Icing Sugar and egg white, heat the mix up to 60 deg or so to give it a workable hardness ? Would Potassium bitartrate help? If I add Baking Powder, will I be able to put it on the ceiling and would it then look like Artex?
Should I use a spachelor or a float?
So many questions...seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
I know this is the vintage section...but Artex
Swirl or stipplemy isetta is a 300cc bike0 -

An automated response that's directed at one person! I smell a rat.
You've either run out of bits or you're bottling the lug lining.
or maybe and this is serious...

Once I saw who was posting on this thread I should have known better than to bother reading through the lot in expectation of seeing a nice vintage bike...

Hey you - just you hold your horses. It ain't me stringing it along, it's that bloody itinerant OP. I know where he lives* and you can go and knock on his door and give him the what for.
*PM me for details.
Get the box set of Prison Break, watch it and come back in 6 months. You might see a single bottom bracket bearing by then. I'm sure the nerd/annoyance ability within him would prompt posting a picture of one. :roll:seanoconn - gruagach craic!0
