They look good. They have the shorts for £3 less as well. That doesn't make economic sense, but could be more useable all year round. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Pactimo are good, I have their Raptor bibs from last year and they have a super Cytech chamois in them as well as good quality materials. Definitely worth it at that price, I'm pretty certain they have their UK offices/distribution based in Belfast so delivery won't be too long either. Defnitely recommend.0

Yeah, my last order came the next day. The UK rep Mandy is also very helpful with sizing enquiries etc.0 -
There are some excellent deals on jerseys at the moment. Very tempted.
What's the sizing like there? My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I would say the Summit jerseys are similar to Castelli, pretty snug fitting. Smaller fitting than Rapha. I was between medium and large (39 chest 32 waist). Got a medium to try but it was a fraction too tight, especially round the collar. The pockets are also relatively small.0 -
For a 35" waist and sometimes 40" chest? XL better?
That says up to 42" mind....
But then so do Rapha for their large.....My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Would think you'd be ok with XL. That's 2 sizes up from the one I tried and it was only a fraction too small for me.
I do recommend you try the Summit bib shorts some time. The jerseys are nice but nothing exceptional. The bibs are really top drawer though. There are always 30% off codes to be had for the stuff that's not on sale.0 -
Anybody tried the dhb light legwarmers?0

Just saw a pair of Sportful Giro bibs on there for £30! Think I'll snap those up.0

I've got the Tiburu 3/4s and the NeoPro (older Mille) shorts. The big difference (warmth aside) is the pad. I don't get on with the wider pad on the NeoPro. Seems to bunch a lot more between the legs which the stitch free Golden Gate process makes worse. The Equipe pad just seems to fit me so much better.0 -

I can't say if the new Mille pad is different to the Neo Pro, but wore them again yesterday and (for me) it's bloody great. They might be my new favourites.
From the pics on the net I'd say that is more probably a rebrand of the neo pro pad rather than a new one. So, extra give aside, if you didn't like the old ones then I'd steer clear. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Have you tried Cafe du Cycliste? Very nice for jerseys.

I think it was a weight loss thing as I lost a few pounds after buying them. As you say the Mille is a more forgiving fit and I think maybe they are a little larger than I need. Maybe therefore it's not exactly an issue with the pad but that's where it's felt most.
I would imagine it is simply a re-branding of the same product as the S7 range is fairly new.0 -

The S7 is a bit older now. I've no experience of the give of the Neo Pro but I'd be surprised if the claim that the Mille are cut larger isn't true. So it might be a rebrand but there's something added/taken away.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Saw a Morvelo "Dye Hard" jersey out on the road the other day and it was eye-catching (in a good way!), was nearly tempted but they've only got it in L0

BTR,
Is the Assos S7 iJ Intemediate jersey so much better than its previous iteration (the evo)? How "water resistent" is it?
I don't need it per se - however its available for less than £100 - which is a steal.
On an unrelated cycling matter - whats the chance of you doing a law related Brexit piece about FTA legislation etc. I think I know the answer to this; however, your blog article on law and cycling related accidents was superb and in general, what is written about the Brexit process, is poor in terms of analysis, bias, inconsistency, hyperbole etc.0 -
Ok, on FTA, I'll have a look. Perhaps from a cycling perspective?
On Assos, right, which one! Do you mean the S7 Intermediate that took over from the Evo (S&M version)?
OR the new Mille which has, sort of, replaced the S7? http://www.wiggle.co.uk/assos-milleinte ... o7-jacket/My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Why does the assos man always look like he's shat himself, and doesn't want to move incase you notice.0

This is the one I mean:

That one is the middle of the three so, this is the 'evolution':
The one linked to looks 'new' as it's the Prof Black version of the 'old' middle one above.
Now, here's where it gets complicated. The last of the three is the Mille, it's not really the replacement of the second one but it's pretty much the same, and £80 cheaper RRP.
None are really waterproof. The fronts are, the rest will wet through immediately.
Of the three, the middle one is nicest in design, the third the best in price. AND, whatever your normal Assos size is, you will need a size smaller in the Mille (the third one)My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Bender, I was wondering if you had an old broken pair of Giros around that you might be able to salvage one of the heel pad bolts from and sell to me?
I've just discovered one of the little bolts holding the heel pads in has fallen out of my empire SLX shoes after less than 10 rides! Replacements include both pads and 4 bolts and costs a tenner!0
