I find they all have the same problem that by the time they have sized up for size 12+ (you always seem to need to buy bigger overshoes than the actual shoe size, especially with MTB shoes), the ankles are too loose. The solution I have yet to try but which was recommended was to cut the wrist part off some rubber gloves and put those over the top of the overshoes. Seems a shame to have to do that though... (not to mention people at work think you have a rubber glove fetish!).
I do that, and it works. You can get black marigolds which is probably for the best.0 -
Yeah, I've read about that. Will give it a go.
Condoms don't work though, right? My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I'd not size up on these if you're at the upper range. What size are you?
I always need the next size up from that - 46/47 shoes and they are normally a squeeze even in the overshoes labelled for that size. Plus your ankle looks like it may already be on the large side for me.
Not sure if I am unusual and have really thin ankles for my size... DHB are the best for ankle tightness so far, castelli do some that are second best but all the others I have tried have been hopeless.0 -

I may get some of those next week along with the matching jersey. I like their stuff. Slightly above dhb level aesthetics at less than dhb level price. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Looks like one of those "suffering" Rapha dudes.0

Bender, what would you say the teperature range was on one of those Lussos? Compared to, say, the original Rapha Pro Team Jacket, which I think you also own.0

I bought some last year after reading great reviews. Without looking I think road cc rated them highly.
Tbh I wasn't blown away by them, OK for the money but not a patch on my sorpassos although I'm aware that there's a huge price difference. All that said I'm getting close to buying some of the rivelo 3/4s.0 -
Yeah I doubt they'll be up there with the sorpasso even given the misleading price RRP. But for £59 I'll give them a whirl! My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Lusso claim -3 to 14. I'd say it's certainly on a par with the Rapha softshell in terms of weight etc. And, of course, all round waterproof. My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Ride today was very cold out of the sunshine. I elected to wear the dhb aeron softshell on top of the Alpha, that sorted it.
...and here's the truth. A terrible pic that makes me look like I have a beer belly. Now, there's no way I could afford that.
Don't get a crick neck.

Thanks. Struggling to find it on their website.
Interested to hear if you think it is better than the Mossa 2.0 -

Former key staff from Arcteryx have decided to start up a cycling clothing brand. I assume as Arcteryx is very much the ASSOS of the Mountaineering/hiking clothing world, then 7 Mesh will be pitching against both ASSOS and Rapha in the cycle clothing market:

Hi all, what's the verdict on recent B'twin gear... specifically, the Aerofit range and the various bib tights? Interested whether the jackets fit more like Castelli, or is there extra unwanted cloth built in?0
-
I find them similar to castelli I take a large 6'2 72kg, dont have any bibs but baselayers and a couple of tops.0

Pinno, stop posting photos
Bender keep up the good work and goodluck with the future and many more birthdays.
Re Arc Terxy, very good technical mountain kit but at the top end of the price spectrum. Like their kit more than most but Patagonia is my go to due to their ethical model0
