Where? What height are you just out of curiosity?

That Stolen Stoat...err, I mean Stolen Goat is Green DB. Are you feeling okay?

I have two green bikes now!

They look bad but they feel good?

They look ahhhhmayyzing and feel even better :-) Being green, they are good for the environment too. Admittedly one has a bigger carbon footprint than the other ;-)

  • Ow, Pinno. We had it all. Mud, snow, slush, bits of ice, shale, rock, mud like in Jurassic Park, grass (hidden), tarmac, singletrack, holes, puddles, streams, rivers, ice falling off branches, blood. It was insane

Well, you are a braver man than me Gunga Din. Most definitely madder, that's for sure. Dnf?

...and the apparel for this monstrous event was...?

Lusso long sleeve thermal, Rivelo 3/4, Parentini Gloves and humble Shimano XC50n shoes.

But it was the new Schwalbe X-One BITE that got me round. And, of course I finished!

Sounds like an awesome event. Mind you, some people were probably thinking you're too poor to buy the right clothes or haven't been cycling for very long :lol:

    Chapeau for finishing

I keep meaning to buy proper kit for CX but most of the time I just wear what I can bear to kill. Today I just wore what was most black and still offered protection.

The kids just wore their club short sleeves and shorts..........

I do really want a thermosuit but if I bought one I'd have to be really quick..........

Not italian cycling clothing small, but they are a fitted shape so sit quite nicely and not too losse. My guess is that you are probably an M.

    Bendertherobot,

Got the 3/4 Rivelo in the post this morning and they fit great thanks to your guidance. They really look like top quality.
I've been riding in thermal shorts and knee warmers this year so far. BTW, only saw your roubiax.cc referral link after ordering and feel bad about that. Appreciate the help.
  • Currently wearing a medium HH at 39" chest. Nicely fitted.

Wore the Rivelo for CX yesterday in some astonishingly bad conditions. Just the ticket!

The Lusso is definitely worth it but it is going to get much colder so I wonder whether a short sleeve Mossa/Gabba/Perfetto variant may be better at this moment in time?

And I see Lusso now have this - http://www.lusso.bike/product/aqua-extr ... cket-copy/ - not quite what I was thinking of but choices choices. Looks a bit mossa-ish but a good bit lighter on the wallet.

Almost my dimensions exactly. M for you sir.

There was a link very recently in the Bargains thread with a link to some HH Freeze available for £26.99. Hurry.

I wonder where it fits. They already had the aqua repel (which was stormshield) and the Corsa (which was mere windtex).

So, I'm not sure what this one is as, in theory, the existing aqua is like the Mossa. I wonder if this is warm per the Mossa.2?

Yes you have to register to see the prices - then you get bombarded with numerous emails each day telling you that they have special price / offers on various items which is a proper pain in the arse
