They ran out of large. Making a new run. Made in Manchester see, no waiting for shipments

    I see.

BTR's Clothing reviews: Tested to destruction in muddy Welsh fields. It's catchy.

I think they've sold a few already! They're constantly making stuff up there, and they can keep up with demand really easily. Good way of working really.

@BTR, do you happen to know if the Mossa Fashion is the same jacket, just different colours, to the Mossa 2?

Looking at the specs, they appear to be identical in terms of materials used.
    Felt F70 05 (Turbo)
Marin Palisades Trail 91 and 06
    Scott CR1 SL 12
    Cannondale Synapse Adventure 15 & 16 Di2
    Scott Foil 18
  • Shouldn't be. It's just a nicer looking version of the Mossa.

    The Mossa.2 is 57% % POLYPROPYLENE 37% POLYESTER 6% ELASTHAM

The Mossa (and fashion) are 85% POLIAMIDE 15% ELASTHAM

    (Not my spelling!)

    Thanks BTR,

Interesting, Ciclimattio has exactly the same description for both items :?
    Lazy website details I guess.

  • Ultimately they are much the same material but the Mossa.2 is, for want of a better description, fleece lined. Save that it's millions of bits of polyester rather than fleece, and contributes to that warmer feel.

I'd imagine, and I'll confirm soon, the Lusso Extreme is going to turn out much like that..........

The Lusso is definitely worth it but it is going to get much colder so I wonder whether a short sleeve Mossa/Gabba/Perfetto variant may be better at this moment in time?

And I see Lusso now have this - http://www.lusso.bike/product/aqua-extr ... cket-copy/ - not quite what I was thinking of but choices choices. Looks a bit mossa-ish but a good bit lighter on the wallet.

I wonder where it fits. They already had the aqua repel (which was stormshield) and the Corsa (which was mere windtex).

So, I'm not sure what this one is as, in theory, the existing aqua is like the Mossa. I wonder if this is warm per the Mossa.2?

    I'll tweet!

I love the look of that, that orange is eye catching.
  • It's a very good colour choice

Do you know that I read the whole review?!

    Where did this come from?!:

" ...“making your sweat work for you.” That’s nice, I like my sweat working for me. It’s certainly preferable to it skulking off and working for someone else behind my back. ..."

    lol

Must be a typo, I think he meant "making your stoat work for you".

    Bender,

You have obviously noticed the x shifter thread, any chance of contacting the x shifter crew and seeing if they will let you try out their shifting system in the hopes of producing a review?

Obviously, the company seems interested in the bike radar crowd and your review site obviously generates a lot of views.

Maybe he was over heating after his ride in the Mossa when a Stoat would have maintained a perfect temperature duct taped and stuffed into your back pocket.

The Lusso is in. First impressions excellent. It's kind of a Mossa1.5 falling somewhere between the weight of the Mossa and Mossa.2

But in terms of temperature it feels like it could be on a par with the Mossa.2. Certainly it's claimed to be good down to -3.....

That was quick. You must have bat.. hang on...

What did I say? Birds of a feather.

Pink, green, yellow, blue - all clash with my Wilier. However, there's so many colours on my Art Deco C40, I can wear anything in winter. Well, almost anything.

What size shoes are you, and how tight around the ankles are they? I find they all have the same problem that by the time they have sized up for size 12+ (you always seem to need to buy bigger overshoes than the actual shoe size, especially with MTB shoes), the ankles are too loose. The solution I have yet to try but which was recommended was to cut the wrist part off some rubber gloves and put those over the top of the overshoes. Seems a shame to have to do that though... (not to mention people at work think you have a rubber glove fetish!).
  • Mine are large which are supposed to be for 43-45. They're pictured on 45 Shimano XC70.

I'd not size up on these if you're at the upper range. What size are you?
