I'm buying these to go with it.
Now add some shorts (dhb actually) and you're almost complete.

It's a weird one again. It seems to replace the hardshell but isn't waterproof. It has the look of the softshell, but has no lining.
And it's £260..............My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

It must replace the Softshell, it doesn't seem that they would have room in their line up for a Classic Winter Jacket and a Classic Softshell that basically look the same, neither of which are fully waterproof.0

There's a special edition in tricolor, it says "based on our classic hardshell jacket." Which is an error as they intended to write "classic winter jacket." But I think that's a faux pas as they clearly think that it's the hardshell. The lack of lining leads me to think it won't be all that warm.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Looks like it's made entirely from the same material used in the front panel of the original Pro Team Jacket (Polartec Powershield). So I would say that it's a replacement for the Classic Softshell, if anything.
Pricewise, I would say it's in line with high end mountaineering gear made from the same material.0 -

It's all set up like a hardshell, same looking (if not actual) material, taped seams etc. Yet not waterproof. Weird weird choice to do. And, in the tri colour version they all but admit that it's based on the hardshell. A mistake in wording, but seems obvious that they think so as wellMy blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

The descriptions on the two 'different' versions seem to be at odds with one another. Powershield is a softshell material though and not waterproof.0

Gilet doesn't have pockets though
I have the older red and black Dennis the menace style one. I like it, despite its lack of stoat stowing capabilities.0 -
