I get supplied mine for review. The site is a mix of that, some supplied, some bought. The latter far outweigh the former now. (sadly!)
I've spoken to them about this issue in the past and it is being addressed. What one are you after specifically, let me have a word......
Thanks !!!!
I'm looking at the Mossa 2, in Orange (still need to figure out what size). Seems to be exactly what I want for cold commutes and training rides, with rain protection thrown in as an added bonus.
Their dealer network seems really patchy. Nothing in London, the west of the country seems without one too. I fully understand their desire to not have hundreds of stockists but their geographic spread hasn't been particularly thought through.
What are your chest measurements, weight etc?
Height = 5 ft 10.5 inches (179cm)
Chest 39 inches (100cm)
Weight = 75/76kg
Annoyingly,I have a convertible Gabba in Large but have Castelli medium jerseys so seem to fit behind Castelli's sizing, so hopefully that isn't an issue with Parentini.
Really appreciate your help.
Still probably a large. I'm 39" 5ft 10 and 83kg. I will measure each of the Mossa precisely for you later. Seems like stock of the Mossa.2 won't be widespread before November but that's perfectly sensibleMy blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

Re the mossa sizing. Just to confuse things I'm 5"9 ( and a bit!) , 78kg, 34in waist with a 39in chest and medium is perfect.
Most of my castelli gear is large.0 -
Admittedly mine is a bit looser than it used to be on me! Especially around the middle. I might be able to squeeze into a medium I guess. But I prefer the large.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

On the subject of the HH 'Freeze':
Got it yesterday. Ride first thing was nippy and windy. Ideal conditions to test the base layer I thought. I wore it under a light long sleeve top. I must say it was very warm. Will get proper testing in mid winter.
When the wind was on my back and the sun popped out, it was far too warm but that's comforting to know.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Unless you need the normal rear pockets of a jersey, I would be wearing it without the light long sleeve top over it right now - you still get the warmth but it breathes really well so that you dont sweat. Like that, I happily wear it in warmer weather than we have right now - it is actually my go to long sleeve top for when it isnt really cold - then its my base layer under a jacket. Having said that when its proper warm I am much more likely to be wearing short sleeves, with arm warmers if I need my arms covered.0

So you live in it basically?
I use factor 50! So I stay pale and interesting. It's more comfortable than long sleeves in hot weather. Good for the duration of the half dozen 6 hour + rides I have done this year.Thick Mike wrote:Couple of sizes and colours here for £33

I love the look of that Mossa 2 = but I already have the DHB jacket for winter - http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-aeron-full- ... softshell/
Is the Mossa 2 worth getting ?0 -

Found the HH freeze on quite a few sites but none in my size (M) so went to CRC. Got one for £50.
If I could just be warm below 5 deg... We shall see.Thick Mike wrote:Couple of colours are £33, in xl and xxl sizes. You have to click on each colour to see.

I could...!
Truth be told, I have not used it more than a couple of times since February because its been so warm and short sleeve has done on most occasions, but there were plenty of times that I could have worn it. I wouldnt wear it on the hottest summer days (even in the UK!) but any cool or only slightly warm day and its fine on its own and in winter I use it alot.
Short sleeves as much as possible for me, although when I mentioned arm warmers above, I actually meant arm 'coolers' to be precise - and sometimes I wear them on really sunny days. They do work. But the also work as warmers and I prefer the ones I have to any proper arm warmers I have bought.0 -

Yes and No. If we have yet another mild winter then the dhb will be more than enough and the Mossa.2 would be overkill most of the time. If we have a severely cold one yes. In terms of the warmest jackets I've ever had they are the Assos Bonka and Mossa.2.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I have three, I think. In subtle colours and I often wear them as jumpers casually. I also like to pretend I'm in the cast for the Last Ship.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

There's a FB page, https://www.facebook.com/roubaixcycling1/ probably better for that sort of thing. I'll try and do that a bit more often. I tend to do it with stuff I've reviewed, did it with a lot of Chapeau stuff in the summer.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

How do the HH warm freeze tops size up? According to the size guide I'll be a small at 39in chest but I'm leaning towards a med?
Cheers in advance.0 -
Randomly.....I'm fairly sure I have a medium and Xl and there's not much between them. Let me dig them out and have a look!My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

I'm a 42" chest and I went for Medium. Slightly on the tight size but only slightly and I don't mind close fitting.
Cheers for that link BTR. I'll have a proper nosey at it.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -
It's mostly a repeat of stuff on the main site but there's sometimes a bit more additional stuff. Not an awful lot of comment though... there's a twitter feed as well (does much the same roubaixcycling.cc) and, ditto, instagram.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)
