    Oh - ok then.

I'll post a piccie with new cages on, 'bars straightened up a bit, new brakes fitted. Let me drink some coffee, go for a run with The Hound and get morning admin sorted.

I'll even order the cassette today and pick up a quick-link from the shop. 11 - 21 it is.

More bollox. Do you work for a PR company?

its a career path I've never really thought about. I did consider trying to get into marketing/business development at one point but was put off by the amount of Arse kissing you have to do. That and the late nights. I've never been good at late nights.

Right, let me finish my Pot Noodle (other noodle in cup snacks are available) and I'll get it out of the garage and take a picture.

JE James are taking the mick when it comes to postage costs on the cassette though, I can tell you that much.

Don't worry - have fitted the brake properly now so pads sit on braking surface, not carbon bit.

As its my birthday on a week or two, cassette and chain will be going then so will post final pictures and ride report then.

It handles like its on rails.

    Power transfer is amazing.

Tracks the road and absorbs imperfections like on a quality steel frame can.

    Etc etc etc ad infinitum.

All cables will also be snipped down when end caps are popped on and thingies set up. Its a bicycle, not an octopus.

Major fail in picture 1. For the rear wheel you have almost got the valve lined up with the quick release lever, but not quite. So it almost looks like there is a 5th spoke with a bit missing in the middle. For the front wheel the valve is on the opposite side of the QR. If it had a chain I assume it would be on the big ring as per the bike pron roolz.
Fix it for the next time or I'l ltell NapD on you.

Good point, well presented. I'll have that dealt with ASAP.

You - over there. Get that sorted.........

How do you know all that before you have fitted a chain?! Or did you get a lift up a hill in a van?
Pic of brakes with brake pads on please - I don't believe you.

Because In the world of bicycle review writing, Public Enemy's advice that you don't believe the hype is generally ignored, so I'm sticking to time honored hyperbole.

Ref brakes: of course my little grumble sticks - all done and ready to be posted.

Agree with hyperbole. Still want pics of the brakes. The aperture to mount the pads is way off, even with the pad bolt uppermost.

It's only because it's too cool for Pinno to understand - it's like a million years of Gallovidian style and culture wrapped up in one unassailable ball of dope style: it's overloaded his circuits.

    Bollox, bollox, bollox.

What a defensive flakey IT you are. My Wilier (made in Italy), adorned with Campagnolo (made in Italy), with Campag wheels (Made in Italy), Cinelli handlebars (made in Italy) and a Selle Italia saddle (made in Italy) looks rather good actually.
I didn't even try to make it look good and coordinated, it was intrinsic :P
