Is it like shuffleboard?0 -
7 hours of shuffleboard. Hardcore!0

Actually, I have no idea what shuffleboard is. Something like Aunt Sally?0

With deejay, I'd say Impossible is Nothing0 -
We joke about Sanne and her resting bitch face, but here she appears to helping a young girl (don't think it's the same team) with her bike so we should remember that just because she doesn't have a natural smile, that in no way means that she's not a good person

Could do with a bump.

Another one for the James trophy case (currently the size of a small village in S Wales)0 -
Got to say that I love how van der Poel races, never seems to be that much of a foregone conclusion as he still makes a few mistakes instead of just riding around and going through the motions. Been a big fan since he won the junior worlds and followed his progress on Facebook and in races the last few years, got high hopes for many more battles between him and van Aert!0

Cant, vdPoel and van Aerts in first and first/second today. You next Cross World Champs will almost certainly be two of those...
I think van Aert will win the World Cup and probably the Superprestige, but don't think he has much of a chance at the Worlds. Van der Poel seems to have the measure of him at the moment.0 -

I think Van Der Poel is really reaping the benefit of having the early season off."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

If someone wants to go to Adrian Timmis's Twitter account (@AdrianTimmis), he posted a brilliant pic of van der Poel with Grandad Pou-Pou on the podium, from the CN feed
Bung it on here, its brill0 -

I think Helen Wyman has a great chance next weekend."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Yeah...Sorry but I don't think de Boer or de Jong really do genuinely have the beating of her (Nikki might have had if the course wasnt so in favour of Sanne). I suspect she may have not been going at 100% yesterday.
My view could be colored by Sophie spitting at me though...We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

She never seemed to look to much in pain when she went past
Sophie was warming up on the turbo, headphones on, and we were watching (as you do when a sportsperson is so close you could push her off the bike...). As we left i shouted "Good Luck Sophie!" and as I did so she spat.
I'm sure she barely heard me and that it was nothing deliberate but it was very good timing I must say, I took some ribbing
Edit - she has just finished an interval like this...

Everything in every photo expresses awful ugliness and lack of beauty.
There is an apparent utter lack of redeeming qualities.
That's what makes them rather nice.0 -
Helen Wyman showed up in the most unlikely of places the other day. On my predictive text function.
I was talking about my friend Helen and my phone suggested the next word I might like to write would be "Wyman"
I can't remember texting about her previously, so it was odd0 -
