I put a warning at the beginning.
I'm an atheist who finds religion ridiculous - maybe I'm wrong. But I find it bizarre that someone can doubt something easily explainable yet devote their life to (in my mind) the ludicrous and impossible.

Overall this is the situation.
Some of the media think Sky are doping or at least write as if they do.
Now Sky being good isn't new. They've been around for six years now, they won the Tour three years ago, and again two years ago. Their leader, Dave Brailsford, has been a figure in cycling since 2003 when he took over the track team and dominated.
Now, after all that time, if you are a journalist who is convinced that they are doping and your best ammunition is a PE teacher shouting 'Pas Normal' with some numbers you don't understand - then either you are a crap journalist or are only interested in generating clickbait copy.Twitter: @RichN950 -

Theres been not one piece of evidence (including a positive) to suggest sky are not clean. For me, the reason Froome, Wiggins have been winning tours is more likely because Contador and the likes are now not on it. I could even wonder how Nibali was so dominant last year, but terrible this, but realise the competition wasn't there in 2014 tour.
Quintana is the closest to Froome, but while I know he is still young, his only victory so far was beating Uran in a Giro where he raced through a red flag. Could it really be expected he would beat Froome?

I can't see any difference between the way that Sky operate and how Merckx and Van Looy rode in the 70's and 60's. Recruit the strongest possible team and use them to control and wear down the opposition leaving your man to win. The difference now is that higher overall standard of fitness and higher speeds mean that time gaps are smaller and we see fewer "exploits".0
