BREXIT - Is This Really Still Rumbling On? 😴

I suppose I should be flattered that quite a few of you are still referring to me and my contributions to the thread so long after we actually left the EU. I wonder why?surrey_commuter said:

In many ways it would make perfect sense to have no tariffs or non-tariff barriers to imports but then you would have no leverage to get better export deals.
What I find astonishing is the Tory Brexiteers who are still moaning that all we have is BINO while being in charge and negotiating the ‘deal’.
Will anyone argue that Brexit is anything other than a failed project and busted flush? I’m with Steveo now. It’s done and dusted and been proven to be a big pile of shite.
I think he is the only person in the world who thinks it has been a success and we are moving serenely to the sunlit land of milk and honey.
None of you got it right about my views on the matter (SBA was closest), but now we are so far past the event and it doesn't affect me, I can probably sum it up like this:
I reckon more of you need to do that...
"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
For someone who DGAF, you seem to spend a lot of time on this thread telling us you DGAF.
Meanwhile, even this UKIP Tory government is having to do stuff to mitigate the pile of 💩 it created, or pretending to ignore it. Mind you, Starmer's doing the same, whilst a sizeable majority of the voting public now knows what a pile of 💩 it has turned out to be.0 -
Dodger is just a professional wind up merchant. How would I 'love' to work with him? And even more to work FOR him.0

He voted against Brexit.
I can't even say I don't care without people reacting and challenging it. Just as well that's not my problem either
As a middle class boy in Redcar was it case” Mommy dearest can I go see Discharge and the UK Subs” “ Oh no there be all those rough boys there, spitting and fighting. Why don’t you go see someone like BucksFizz”
Now you are your own man and can do what you like, so its punk all the way. I be you dream of being down the barricades with Big Al throwing petrol bombs. Or up in the trees stopping HS2 with the Ferret and Wolf.🤣🤣🤣😎

Meanwhile, even this UKIP Tory government is having to do stuff to mitigate the pile of 💩 it created, or pretending to ignore it. Mind you, Starmer's doing the same, whilst a sizeable majority of the voting public now knows what a pile of 💩 it has turned out to be.
Anyway, keep moaning Brian, it'll make f all difference.
Not seen any of the recent opinion polls then? Maybe not my effort, but somehow the message that Brexit was and always will be 💩 is getting through to more and more people. (Even the Daily Heil is blaming Brexit for the chaos at Dover.) And that's how things change.
I'm not at all fussed if you ignore it. It'll still be there.

Is the failure of Brexit still civil servants and the Remoaner blobs fault?
In many ways it would make perfect sense to have no tariffs or non-tariff barriers to imports but then you would have no leverage to get better export deals.
