I fancy Giant Shimano to be in the mix today, though OGE look like clear favourites“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0

what determined the starting order ?
Edit: seems like it was a draw according to Inner Ring.
Also, looking at the latest weather forecast it seems to be more benign than originally forecast with an easing gentle breeze and dry conditions0 -
Excited. Love a good TTT.
Orica favourites I reckon. Movistar to gain time over most contenders.0 -

I think you nutshelled that quite nicely Turfle. even sat in my office in sunny (not) douglas you can't help but sense the buzz of excitement about the race and the next 3 days in Ireland/N. Ireland.
Just imagine the vibe when it's tme for the Tour.0 -

Yeah, quite breezey today. A few of them were being buffeted by the wind coming across the Queen's Bridge.0 -
Big crowds already building up in finish straight.
This was the final corner this morning.
Interesting to see different team styles for getting course footage. Neri had rider wearing GoPro, Sky had fancy tripod on the front of the Jaguar following the team.
Didn't see Orica, but Movistar, Garmin, BMC & Astana looked the best drilled of the rest.0 -
keep the photos coming folks!!0

Start ramp for this evening looks impressive!
UK Cycling Expert on form as well for the occasion… "Very windy ahead of the outdoor team timed trial. I'm predicting 22 echelons with 5 minute gaps between them! Carnage!"0 -

If there's a sudden shower it could throw a big spanner in the works for the likes of Evans and Uran who start later. They need to make some decent time gaps today.0

Raining now0

That was a tight and twisty section the Colombians just went through. Little traffic island nearly caught out.0

Colombia the first team in with 26:05. Movistar are away.0
