I fancy Giant Shimano to be in the mix today, though OGE look like clear favourites

what determined the starting order ?

Edit: seems like it was a draw according to Inner Ring.

Also, looking at the latest weather forecast it seems to be more benign than originally forecast with an easing gentle breeze and dry conditions

    Excited. Love a good TTT.

Orica favourites I reckon. Movistar to gain time over most contenders.

Yeah, quite breezey today. A few of them were being buffeted by the wind coming across the Queen's Bridge.

Big crowds already building up in finish straight.

This was the final corner this morning.

Interesting to see different team styles for getting course footage. Neri had rider wearing GoPro, Sky had fancy tripod on the front of the Jaguar following the team.

Didn't see Orica, but Movistar, Garmin, BMC & Astana looked the best drilled of the rest.

Paging philbar72 to the PTP thread. Unless I've missed it, you've not provided a GC selection.

Channel 972 for those with Sky but no Eurosport (6.30pm start). Should also be hiding somewhere on Freeview. Surprised ITV4 didn't take it.

If there's a sudden shower it could throw a big spanner in the works for the likes of Evans and Uran who start later. They need to make some decent time gaps today.

That was a tight and twisty section the Colombians just went through. Little traffic island nearly caught out.

Colombia the first team in with 26:05. Movistar are away.
