Jeez- what crappy timing - you could have bunked off the ToS if it had been a bit earlier ! How did you do it ?
Mind you its been so windy and crappy round here that most of my rides have been indoors and its a bit easier to stay on the bike in there.
Heal well !0 -
Anyone heard if they got lucky in the prize draw? Just wondered if we'd had any luck among the bikeradar posters!
I got back on the turbo tonight for the first time since the tour ended - so I had a full week off - and felt surprisingly good. I did Tunnabora which I've found to be a good workout in the past. I think it may be time for an FTP test.
Cheers,
MarkPBoardman Road Comp - OK, I went to Halfords
Tibia plateau fracture - the rehab continues!0 -

DW300 sorry to hear about your off, shitty luck.
Bike's off being fixed by the insurer and sort of missing doing the vids, going to have been at least a fortnight before get back on the bike/trainer Couldn't decide what to do and then the sufferfest minions sent me a discount off of a training plan so thought that I would give that a go next. Haven't completed a structured plan before.
Do they do other events during the year?0 -

Is it just me or is 3 weeks quite a long time? Surely the bones will have started to set/knit by then?!
I've no idea, i'm not medically trained and I've never broken anything that ive had to go to hospital for before. :?:
I'm no doctor, but I would push to see someone before that if you can.0 -
DW, if you contact your fracture clinic via hospital, you should be able to self refer, I have done this before with a collar bone but tbh if it is a straight fwd break, then unless you pay, they ll treat it with a sling or fig 8 bandage and pain killers.
apparently NSAIDS (Neurophen etc) slow down new bone growth.0 -

I did! I won the Quadlock Smartphone Bike Mount which I'm pretty chuffed about!
Haven't been on the turbo since finishing though thanks to a very bad chest cough - desperately trying to shift it so I can get back to training...
Not as bad as DW's bad luck though - heal up soon!0 -
