    Yep.
  • Lots of riders without transponders, you get visuals of them but their names don't pop up.

As for the roads, good they resurfaced them, the descent down to Florence was bobbins with potholed corners and bad camber but with the rain and new surface... The white lines look very white.

Froome is going to have no support left set this rate. Doesn't even have Titchy Richie.
    Correlation is not causation.
  • Spotter Sagan.
    Contador is the Greatest

He's in a group 50 seconds back from the 'peloton' anyway.

How long ago find they resurface these roads? They look really slick.

    Italian roads.

Great in dry - shocking in wet.

I imagine the lure of swinging by your hotel every lap in this weather is pretty strong.

Think we need to draw up a list of one dayers who have done well in p!ssing rain.

I'm not sure this was the atmosphere the organizers were hoping to convey. The weather is hardly showing the course and the local area off to its best. Fiesole is really very lovely and the course looked great for those races where the sun was out, unfortunately most of those weren't on the TV.

    Probably.

He wasn't in much form in ToB, and i imagine his motivation in this weather is limited - especially given he's not the best bike hanlder.

    i fail.
  • This is a proper course. Only real men can win. Survival of the fittest. Attritional like Roubaix and Flanders.

Indeed Froome's ToB form was practically none-existent, probably due to his none-participation in that race ;-)

Spanish team keeping their powder dry, if nothing else, at the mo. Valverde to mug the Italians?
