Contador's only option appears to descend beyond his own abilities again.

Unfortunately we have some doping news for you. The judges in the Mantova investigation has sent 27 people to trial. That includes 18 riders, amongst them Damiano Cunego and Alessandro Ballan.

Yeah twitter, Sky are definitely the problem for credible cycling at the moment

    Sorry...

Big shame the SKY boys have recovered amazingly this week. I really hope some of them get smoked early doors. They could potentially turn this stage into a pretty poor day.

Big shame that Contador has held Kreuziger back this tour. If he'd have been let off the leash we'd have had more of a contest.

Really? Please let me know by how many seconds Kreuziger beat Contador in the first time trial and the second and how much time Kreuziger put into him yesterday?

Contador trying to break up Sky`s silly train. Good job too as otherwise they would just deadlock the race. Lets see how it pans out.

Kriby is driving me nuts... he's just spouting complete drivel, making stuff up ... all the time. How am I going to survive the next 3 hours? :-(

If Rolland survives the next two cols then he will be ok for the KOM.

Be interesting to see what tactics Saxo employ today to try and conserve a podium place. Second third and fourth places all up for grabs.

    Vichot down.

Ended up in a ditch, walking but limping a bit.

Don't think they've shown it if it was caught on camera. He certainly picked the right side of the road to go off on at least.

No one deadlocks a race. Its up to the other teams and riders to do something. Why are Sky on the front? cos they have the yellow jersey, its expected.

I suppose if anyone deserves to be in a spotty jersey then it's Rolland, he's the only person who was chasing points early on in the race and went to all the effort with his misguided costume.

Shame that it's taken until today for anyone else to actually bother to race for the jersey.
