Is Cav's group still making a bid for glory or have they been swallowed up?

Swallowed up a long time ago.

Noticed that Greipel as still in the peloton, so this is no deadlock Sky or Saxo pace.

I wonder if Kreuziger won't have to share a Tandem with Contador next year?

I`m guessing about page 40 is when I should start to follow the spoiler.

Guess I was more than a little wrong on this one. Good to see.

Stage started on TV earlier today, so more racing (or just riding) to talk about.

Ryder swallowed up by chasers, no doubt to be spat out very soon...

No comedy please, I have a serious dilemma.

I have a library book that's overdue and don't know if I'll get there in time unless they pick up the pace. Didn't even get to the end and some f**ker reserved it.

Deffo finish the book and take the fine.

Hmmm popular book... 50 Shades is it? :D

Riblon out the back of the peloton now. Conserving himself for tomorrow? Or knackered from his earlier efforts/yesterdays ride?

A bit of both I think.

Evans riding in grupetto with Cavendish
There is a relatively large group of riders about 3'00" behind the peloton that is 11'00" behind Hesjedal. Included in this 'grupetto' is the 2011 Tour champion Cadel Evans who is now riding along with sprinters like Mark Cavendish...

he has a star next to his name as a popular rider, so no doubt lots agreeing with you. Keep him in the team though, he's not won any points anyway and I don't think you get penalised.

He finished 3rd in the Giro, he's probably just too knackered. Major error by BMC? They were relying on TJ to be the man in this race.

Surely he must be ill? If not its a meteoric fall from grace for a guy expected to be in the top 5.

Fair call, but still not what he would have expected of himself to be trundling along in the grupetto.

Why would he waste energy in a group up the road though?

Despite his freaking ridiculous ideas on rider fashion, I'd love to see Ro-land get this.

Just had a text from the Mrs saying "check out the Lampre dude with the tache".

Firstly, well done to her for spotting a Lampre rider, no one else has seen them all race....
    Secondly, who has the tache?

According to an interview, Ro-land was a bit chubby at school and got in to cycling to lose weight.

    Here he is aged 13-
