:x Well jel. I wish the tour would come round my way, or ToB organisers have the same clout in making the council resurface the road.

Just been done by the looks. Went down there in last year's Etape. (as did the tour obviously) Full of potholes.

It would be amazing if Riblon did enough to take the polka dots away from Froome.

    Current:
    Froom 104
    Quintana 97
    Riblon 93
    Nieve 73

Froome`s arms are disgustingly skinny. Not far off Rasmussen. When he finsishes his career as a hot shot cyclist he should start selling his methodology for going from chubby to borderline anorexic.
If he wasn't so visibly skinny you'd just be complaining about how such a big guy could get up mountains like he does. We get it, you don't like him.

Who won an epic mano a mano duel with evil old Michael Rasmussen in the 2007 Tour?
Come on, who wants to go digging up ancient history? As if it's at all relevant to today's racing!

Aside from the beauty of the whole trip and then the attempted fisty-cuffs. That video really shows the speed they go up these damn things.

Riblon has gone out the back, think it's more likely to be Nieve. Unless Riblon can take a load of points tomorrow.

Evans out the back already I think. Doesn't look like a mega pace either.

Big shame the SKY boys have recovered amazingly this week. I really hope some of them get smoked early doors. They could potentially turn this stage into a pretty poor day.

That`s a shame although I suppose after his huge efforts yesterday not surprising.

You'd think Quintana would have a pretty good chance of taking it off him, tomorrow if not today.

With Sky losing EBH and Kiryienka they're really lucky he was able to continue, doing a ton of work for them!

Just a point on the tripping up the runner vid - that's not the way to do it, he was very close to TJVG and couldn't have taken him out when he fell.

The correct technique is to step out with a shoulder block, arm out, hooking him down backwards.

I don't have a cycling vid to demonstrate, but Andy Symonds on a streaker shows how it should be done (from about 35 - features nudity, obviously).

Roche and Contador ride off the front, get about 10metres, then drop back in.

Saxo come to the front. Geraint doesn`t like it and like a spoilt child accelerates in front, slows down and puts his jersey on.

Big shame that Contador has held Kreuziger back this tour. If he'd have been let off the leash we'd have had more of a contest.

Unfortunately we have some doping news for you. The judges in the Mantova investigation has sent 27 people to trial. That includes 18 riders, amongst them Damiano Cunego and Alessandro Ballan.
