Everyone slagging off Riblon's choice of spotty shorts, please spend a quiet moment (for safety, be near a toilet) contemplating polkadot jersey with brown shorts.

    Thanks you.

Still on Canadians, Hesjedal is a fool. Why would you want to go solo this far out?

    Because today is the Redonkathon.

from the left field..... are there enough points left for Ryder to get 85 in the next couple of days to take the polka dot jersey?

I imagine Ryder's sponsored to wear those glasses. As Michael Caine said when asked if he'd even seen Jaws: The Revenge "no - but I have seen the house it paid for"

It's what Millar said Ryder had been calling today's stage since Corsica.

Fairdoos Ryder looks like a right prize c0ck in those sunglasses!

Cycling shades are often badly styled enough but if you're not going to wear them you might as well take the opportunity to wear something that doesn't make you look like a total bellend :)

Right, confession time, I kinda like them and they make him very recognisable

    Plus:-

How many of you knew POC existed and made sunglasses 2 weeks ago

How many other Sunglasses have we mentioned this year (notable exception for oakley jawbones/racing jackets

    Hmm? HMM??

Glad he changed his helmet sponsor to something more aero:

Sorry for Veelers that he's out, but can't hurt Cav's chances in Paris if Kittel is missing his leadout man.

    Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Does this mean that Tufty has the Lanterne?

No, he's in 2nd now. Murayev leads him by 12 seconds.

    It's tight at the bottom.

No idea, from Le Tour ticker:
    13:03
Veelers out of the Tour de France
Tom Veelers (ARG) was the 'Lanterne Rouge' after stage 18. The Dutchman has, however, just stepped off the bike and his Tour is over.

It's exactly the same ploy as Chava's specialized and Trek's Madone...

Personally I prefer it when both the front and bottom are tight.
