A rest day.
Froome must be tired.
Quintana looks like he's aged 10 years. Not a day over 63 though.

Well they sleep but we can still have geology, wine, local custom, little known facts and idle speculation.

This is now Stage 16.

PTP points for the doping bust?

Mind you we re not in Pau so maybe it's all on Athletics this year...

I have high hopes for Rundfahrt, unless he's out of gas after yesterday's attacks.

Quintana is certainly looking good for a second place spot - but he sure don't look like he's 23!

Lucky for Quintana he's not from a country with a widespread drug problem.

Funny though that the highways dept's have no problem maintaining the 'white lines'.

Nah, he'll have been fine and raring to go 5 mins after he finished the stage.

Vaucluse is a region not a town.
But they should be taking the waters of the Fontaine-de-Vaucluse a natural spring famed for its mineral quality.

Well may be not Froome. The Sky train look a bit knackered though.

What support he got yesterday. Richie Porte gave it everything up that climb.

Kennaugh buried himself into that climb too. Looked like he was about to fall off the bike when he pulled off the front!

Lol! Little Pete did look like he was doing the Michael Jackson Moonwalk when he pulled over!

Hopefully Movistar will have a whipround so that Quintana can have a facial.

I expect Sky will continue to make Froome do telesales of Satellite dishes even on a rest day. Towards the top of yesterdays climb he must have cold called 40 punters in Croydon.

Not sure if you can see this but interesting reading all the same.

Not sure why Cofidis even bother turning up. Should have given a wildcard entry to IAM.

Exactly! Pretty grim when Sosajun is beating one of the biggest teams in pro cycling, and they only entered with a wildcard!

To think those winnings need to be split 8 or 9 ways!

And theres the reason why those guys ride on even with broken collarbones. Not because they are hard. Because they will starve if they don't!

FDJ will be pleased with their exploits given they would have had high hopes of Pinot and Bouhanni.

How come Vacansoleil have won so much?

Let's hope the second rest of the Tour passes without the usual second rest day excitement.

Vaucluse has a predominantly karst geology, with the Fontaine de Vaucluse being a particularly famous karst spring.

    For the uninitiated of Karst:

Karst topography is a geological formation shaped by the dissolution of a layer or layers of soluble bedrock, usually carbonate rock such as limestone or dolomite, but also in gypsum. It has also been documented for weathering-resistant rocks, such as quartzite, given the right conditions.

Subterranean drainage may limit surface water with few to no rivers or lakes. Many karst regions display distinctive surface features, with cenotes, sinkholes or dolines being the most common. However, distinctive karst surface features may be completely absent where the soluble rock is mantled, such as by glacial debris, or confined by one or more superimposed non-soluble rock strata. Some karst regions include thousands of caves, although evidence of caves large enough for human exploration is not a required characteristic of karst.

He's "working from home" usually based in the call centre in Swansea. It's where he met Miss Cound.
