Was that not because Froome looked to be pedalling 11x53?
I see what you did there. Froome's attack cadence is pretty high, estimates and gearing anyone?0 -
Craig Harrison @Dscaper
Watching replay - Froome signalled to spectator that he should give water to Saxo rider behind, as he already had some. #TdF

I am so pleased about Mollema and Ten Dam and not just because I live in the Netherlands. I really hope Mollema can hold on for 2nd.Correlation is not causation.0 -

Awwwwwwwwwwwww
Well if you put a TT helmet on them with mirrored visor (ala Macaloon avatar) and I knew no better, I'd snog Froome first.
(Have I just said a bad thing?)0 -

Congrats @chrisfroome. The last LEGEND to win up Mt Ventoux was no other than the Greatest cyclist on earth, Eddy Merckx in 1970! #KingsClub
I'm hearing that a Mr Fighter has filed for copyright infringement
(not sure what Stuey's on either)
I reckon he must have lost an Ashes first test bet and that's his forfeit.
Froome is ok but he is no legend. Not if Merckx is in that bracket. Merckx was no stylist on the bike though. All power and rolling shoulders, but who cares. If you can go on a 100k break when you are already leading a GT you have every right to ride the way you want, and to be called a legend.0 -

It's disappointing to get your attitude and seems the Omerta is still up and running. I'll leave as I'm speaking too much (shh...). One day there'll be unhappy books about all this.
I think this is a valid point of view. The number of members falling over themselves to post 'STFU - He's clean' is crazy.
It just stuns me; after everything we've been through not one of you should accept what you've seen on face value. Enjoy the spectacle yes, but accept no.0 -

It's great to see these guys back. I think there was something really wrong with the approach of Rabobank. Despite the "D"word they just weren't performing. These Belkin boys are a breathe of fresh air in comparison. Cycling always needs strong Dutch and Belgian teams. I think we have them now.0 -

How have you been one of the idiots? I haven't had a problem with anything you've posted and obviously I am the arbiter of what's acceptable.0 -

Why does Porte always have a smile on his face even when he should be suffereing? what ever sort of chamois cream he's stuffing down his shorts I want some. I don't want to do his laundry though :oops:0

The more relevant point is how did Froome destroy Contador making him look entirely ordinary. I think this is a sure sign that AC is riding clean, because if he was juiced the CF would have got dropped like 2nd period French.0 -

How would I have any? I'm simply expressing the disbelief created by what my eyes are seeing. I can't believe he's riding clean.
All I can say is that people lapped up Armstrong's performances, Contador's performances and others and looked how they turned out.0 -

Great win by Froome. I can't help but think that there was a point when Froome made his penultimate attack that if Quintana could have gone again he might have put Froome in trouble (however Quintana is obviously over 50 years old!)0

I'm worried there's only a week of racing left. I've enjoyed it so much I'm beginning to miss it already.

Presumably you are basing what you think seems a 'clean' or 'not clean' performance on previous years racing, when doping was rampant?Mañana0
