Orica Green Edge are 27/1 for the win and 5/1 for top 3 on Betfair at the moment - seems decent odds so have put a couple of quid on them.

Yay, I think that's the first time I have ever won a bet on cycling :D

Well that was fun. A bit like a 20/20 cricket match in the middle of a test series.

FYI, if the stupid aus orica bus was not under the banner and caused that huge crash then Martin would have been 100% and OPQS would have won.

They cause a huge mess and get two stages and the yellow jersey. Where is the karma.

Just right really. Not too much time for the GC contenders to lose as individuals, but enough to make it worth the effort.

    Rogers?

Takes more than hiring a ready-made GT guy. It takes a whole set up geared to supporting a serious GT assault, that OGE dont have. When there was speculation about Porte earlier this year, Gerrans explained it pretty well here:

But otherwise...yeah, a tall skinny bloke with a big conk and sideys - and an Aussie dad...

How does Gerrans have a neck when he is not riding a bike... but when he is on the bike, it disappears... Something fishy going on there.
