Yeah will do.
To be honest I'm kind of between sizes and could maybe have done with the medium in terms of seatpost height. Currently this is not cut any and fits fine. If I had gone with the medium Id have had to go shorter on the stem which is allready a short 80mm. I also bagged this frame a lot cheaper than rrp which clinched the dealCervelo R3

My first road bike.
2013 Defy 1, picked it up as an early Christmas present in October when it went in the sale!
Only managed to do a couple of hundred miles or so on it so far... probably more like 150!
Completely standard so far aside from some lights, as I really only get to go out after my kids are in bed or cycling to and from work. Would like to get a speedo, maybe the slim Cateye wireless one, some cages and bottles and maybe some better leggings for me.
On that note, where do I get the nice colour matched Giant cages everyone seems to have!? Are they the ones on eBay? Do any bottles fit or do I have to buy specific ones?0 -
Built this one last April with a frame I bought through this forum and group set, wheels and other bits I had left from the Crevelo RS I had before (that had a cracked BB shell so I repaired and sold it...)
2010 Defy advanced frame (54/M)
3T Ergonova Pro bar
3T Arx Team stem (flipped up with a bunch of spacers, I know...back injury bla bla...)
Giant aero seatpost
Spesh Toupe saddle
6600 Shifter and brakes
6700 Compact chainset and mechs
XTR pedals (always had XTRs also on my MTB and they work for me...)
Wheels: For winter I use my older Fulcrum 3's (pictured). For this winter I've fitted them with a set of Durano 25's (Plus in the rear, which is HEAVY but is totally bulletproof). For summer I have a newer 2011 set (in rare Silver, bought on eBay from France) with Pro 4 Endurance 23's
I also have 2 "mix & match" cassettes: a 6700 11-28 and a 105 12-27. Currently set to 12-28 on the winter wheel and 11-27 on the summer one.
Done about 4,500Km since the build and really enjoy the ride. The rear could be a bit softer although I think much of the stiffness comes from the aero post which is thick and heavy.
I'm currently looking for a good set of 6700 shifters and brakes to fit once the winter is over.
Here it is with Cruds and lights on, a couple of weeks ago watching the sunrise:-)
My MTB is, guess what...a GIANT as well...it's a 2010 Trance X frame with wheels and gears/ brakes from my old Anthem 0, a few carbon bits and a Sektor U-Turn fork (PLUSH). I ride it maybe once or twice a month but it's a great ride...
