Only thing I don't like is the white Giant decal on the seat post. Under the clearcoat though so it's going nowhere!
Bars need to come down a little but I think I'll leave until after today.0 -

I have major envy for the Rabobank TCR. Very classy. Now I badly want a TCR frameset.

My SCR, which in the next couple of days will be running 105 5700 groupset. More pictures will follow after I have done it. I rode it for the first time in 3 years last week. It feels good to be back on the bike.

Maybe it's just me but unlike my beloved Specialized bikes that look jurassical as soon as the new model pops out these Giants the more they age the more they acquire personality and style.
A couple of friends ride their Trances,superbly efficient suspensions with no fussy Brain or CTD flicks in the way.Specialized Tarmac Sworks

2007 Giant SCR 2.0
Has served me well for the last 7 years as my commuter through snow, rain and many bus and tube strikes. For some reason could never get a comfortable position on it but replacement Tiagra parts were nice and cheap. Soon to be gone..
By comparison my replacement 2014 Defy 1 has 105 which feels surprisingly cheap and flimsy (plastic 105 vs alloy Tiagra shifters). Progress?0 -

Upgraded/added with Thompson bars w/3.2 Lizard tape, Garmin 510, Giant 'shortie' stem, Specialized Romin EVO, 11-32 cassette, Shimano Ultegra 11s rear derailleur, KMC X11SL DLC chain, Shimano Ultegra carbon pedals, carbon cages, H Plus Son anodized wheels (CK-R45 hubs)w/CX-Ray bladed spokes, Conti 4Ks II.
Prolly a bit much for my 1st road bike but it rides and handles awesome. Only 25 or so miles on it but I love it!0 -
