Very nice bike by the way!
Got the same bike. It is fantastic. Only upgrade I would recommend if you have carbon wheels is that Fouriers brakeset.0 -
Trying on some new 'shoes' tomorrow...0

Here's my 2012 Defy 2, upgraded yesterday with Zondas, Ultegra cassette and chain, BBB Race Ribbon tape (I made a right mess of the previous Lizard Skins stuff I had on) plus Speccy Toupe saddle (stock Giant one was starting to give me issues on longer rides):
Thinking to fully slam the stem and leave 1x10mm spacer on top, but am loathe to cut down the steerer!
Weighted in unscientifically (differential bathroom scales method) at a touch under 9kg which I'm prett happy with (compared to 9.6kg with stock wheels/saddle). Feels noticeably faster and nicer to ride in the quick 14km around town I did last night to check the gears etc, but that might just be because I spent the last 3 days riding it like this, so anything feels faster by comparison:

My Giant Defy 3 (2013)
This is my first road bike and it has been fantastic. Upgrades included Specialised Toupe saddle, Shimano PD-R540 pedals, Fulcrum Quattro wheels, Continental GP400S tyres and an Elite Custom Race bottle cage;
I have had it for two years and it has been a brilliant first road bike. The wheels have improved it significantly in both performance and I think looks to.0 -
I have a Giant Defy Advance 1 which I have for about 8 months and very happy I am with it. The only upgrade I've made so far is to change my pedals over from Look to Shimano Ultegra PD-6800 SPD-SL.
What in your opinion should be my next upgrade? Have been looking at wheelsets but really don't have a clue as to what to go for. I normally use my Giant for my longer rides.Moda Prima 2013

My new Giant Propel Advanced 2. Small changes to black Deda bartape, Giant SLR Contact stem and change of saddle colour from white\black to the black\white combo. Raceware Garmin mount to. Very pleased with it especially for the £s paid. Think I may loose the seattube bottle cage.

After snapping 4 spokes on 4 separate occasions Giant agreed to a warranty replacement of the rear wheel. Unfortunately non in stock so got a pair of new Shimano Ultegras 8) (plus £50 for the front) very stiff and light too, so pleased with that! Also on 25cc Conti GP4000s which roll very quick.
GF has also just bough a new Giant Defy Composite 1, 11 speed Ultegra and very light, nice bit of kit. Obviously great colour scheme too...

My new Giant Defy 1 2014 model as received today from LBS.
Pedals to be changed. Bell & Front Reflector to be removed.0 -

Picked this up from my LBS yesterday , 2015 Giant Defy Advanced Pro 1 Medium, not had chance to set it up yet. Indoor pic only just now as the weather is terrible here. I have a K-Edge chain catcher and K-Edge Gamin mount along with a King Ti bottle cage and speedplay zero stainless pedals ready to fit. Also still need to fit the magnets for the ridesense. Not sure about the saddle, I'll try it for a while on the turbo, if I don't get on with it it will be replaced with a Rido Rlt. Need to order some matte finish helicopter tape to fit on the under side of the down tube and maybe a little bit an the rear of the seat tube to protect from stone chips but other wise the cable routing looks good and I can't see any other areas just yet that might need protecting from rub. Weight as it is with bell and reflectors removed 8.05kg.
