Why? A person's access to any other service in life is dependent upon their wealth. Why should Health care be different?
We pay for all sorts of things out of general taxation -

Oh look, you tried to make a point and failed. I clearly stated 'wealth' not 'taxation'. They aren't the same thing you see, the letters are even different :P0 -

Bread pudding. It'd have to be bread pudding.
And dont even think about asking Rapper if he has any Earl Grey *smack*0 -

Right. Next legitimate post report and I'll lock the thread.
No name calling or personal attacks.
It's not difficult.0 -

Officially yes, but like many things it goes on all the time. We'd either go behind the block (accommodation), or speak with a PTI and do it in the evening with gloves. Win some, lose some, but it was dealt with. None of this complaining to HR (or Mods :P ) nonsense you have in civilian life.

It suddenly all falls into place.
Isn't there a "classic" quote about FM Douglas Haig. When he announced he was going to go into the army, his teacher said: "Oh, there's no need for that, he's really quite bright"....
For me it was the institutionalised "my way or you're a fooking queer/tree-hugger" mentality that suddenly had light shone upon it.
But I like your quote... despite having a couple of very intelligent mates who have served.Ben

For the final time, under UK law groping is a category of sexual assault.
Why is that relevant in this case? The incident occurred in Belgium. I'm not saying he's right, he clearly shouldn't have done it but quoting UK law is just pointless (I have no idea what the law is in Belgium).
Also, by (correctly under UK law) classing it as sexual assault is there a danger of trivialising sexual assault or is this sort of behaviour, especially if someone is happy to be seen doing it on TV, likely to suggest a person liable to do worse when in private? I'll hold my hands up and admit to doing it in the past when younger than Sagan and I've had it done to me when I was in my early twenties by women who I worked with who were 20 years older than me. To me the determining factor is whether the 'victim' was upset or offended in any way. If they were then a full personal apology is the minimum required, if not then just leave it be.0 -

If there had been a podium guy giving Canc a kiss and Sagan had pinched his butt, we'd all be in uproar about that too, right?
That's part of the problem with the "equality" thing.
A few years ago a guy I work with drunkenly grabbed a woman's bum at the office party, she complained, he got fired and his reputation damaged.
The very next year a woman in my office grabbed my ars* in front of the whole office, all the women thought it was hilarious, i ignored it.
Your actions show what a real saint you are! Arise St inkyfingers!

Fair play to Sagan. I have just seen the vid for this and it is him giving the podium girl the bouquet prior to the start of todays race (still worthy of a caption though).0 -
