Fixeds with discs

Otherwise you'll be bending mudguard stays over the caliper. Even worse if you want to run a rack.
Yup - inside the triangle makes a lot of sense - that's where it sit on the Volagis

For utility type frames for full discs and changeable drop outs look at the Cotic Roadrat, Planet X Kaffenback, also I think Genesis do one?
The cotic has the logic of putting the disc tap forward facing on the front so it doesn't affect mud guards. you can sort the geometry of a track frame with bar/saddle position but the only hard to fix bit is toe overlap on small frames or low bottom brackets. Track frames normally run 165mm cranks to stop the pedal striking the ground on cornering where road bikes are normally longer. If I know you, and I like you, you can borrow my bike box for £30 a week. Just bought
Avid BB7 SL front disc brake...
Would appear it's on.0 -
Bah. Potential spanner in the potential works.
Condor fork has integrated headset.
Kinesis DC37 does not.
Does this mean it'll look gash?0 -

Not if the colour combos are ok, what tempo do you have, the 2010/2011 blue?

Yes, they'd be toned down a bit if I was getting a new front with a disc on0 -

Looks familiar. Velosport have apparently come up with a way of routing the front brake line neatly without using cable ties. I'll know more when mine goes in for its first service, which should be when they fit the bits.FCN3: Titanium Qoroz.0

Discs on fixed? It's gonna look gash anyway.
Actually, discs in general = gash.

In fifteen years time discs will be ubiquitous, and rim brakes will be added to the same set as leather helmets on the Venn diagram of cycling.0

Though you may have to loose a few headset spacers as there is a fair amount of clearance between the tyre and the top of the fork (with 25mm tyres). Of course if you don't need mudguard mounts then there's always this.FCN3: Titanium Qoroz.0 -

I do just need to get around to asking Ugo to build a set for me, as I have the disc brake and fork.
This Condor is proving pricey... :roll:0 -

The Enve is lovely, but it only goes with an integrated headset... Can't fit it on my croix de fer, sadly...left the forum March 20230 -
mmm that Enve fork + carbon rotors, this could be bad...

If it fits your frame... I really really want one, but it doesn't fit mine (luckily)... the carbon rotor seems a bit OTT on a fixed bike and I am not 100% positive is performing yetleft the forum March 20230 -
Nice find with that rotor. However, my carbon wheels squeal. My disc brakes squeal, especially when wet. Therefore my prediction is that these will squeal worse than a fat little piggy watching Deliverance for the first time.
If I'm proved wrong then I'll be in the queue to buy them myself.FCN3: Titanium Qoroz.0 -
They'd be very unsafe in the wrong conditions, what with carbon melting in the rain and all.
