Perhaps the intended destination was Euskaltel

(although they're moving away from Orange for next year aren't they?)

Are they? Blimy no orange in the peloton at all, that'll be a shame.

Strangely enough i found out about Rabo pulling out before it was announced, from my contact. But because she screwed up so badly on the Cav goss i didnt bother saying anything! Bloody typical! I could have redeemed myself.

Ive got to laugh though, ive gone from Cav being signed to Rabobank folding. Shame that, i'll miss the orange and white.

Wonder if Renshaw will go to OPQS now and form up with his old buddy?

    I bet you did...

Rabo, together with Euskaltel, does mean that orange is now a free colour ?

I have it on good authority from a bloke who's GF's mum does the hair of someone in the know that OPQS will be riding in orange next season.
  • So. not only is Bernie staying at Sky but he's extended his contract through 2015

Cant wait for Cav's first post-Sky interview - 'Disappointed by Bernie, thought we were best mates and would be together forever...'

More importantly who the heck's going to tow Cav over the mountains?? and he's talking Giro AND Tour next year...

Rick, any suggestions for Cav's new nanny in the mountains?

Probably still Bernie. Cav seemed to be climbing better than him for most of this year.

Not sure about the mountains. Steegmans probably - if he's not getting chummy with Boonen. Terpstra could do it too.

I'd be surprised if Lefevre gives him just one bloke.

I thought Chicci would be leading him out but I get the impression he might not be around for much longer.

If not he's got Ciolek, Steegmans etc.

Grabsch could do the Eisel work too.

A few candidates. I'll find out what Wuyts thinks.

Insideinfo: Top bloke owning up to it! Had us debating for a while anyway.

I will not be quoting you on the blog again though, my 4 readers are truly devestated.

I thought you were getting rather excited about it. Though there was a nice hedging of bets going on.

    Still enjoy your blog though.

  • For a team it’s always important to have a sprinter. We wanted Mark on the team a long time ago,” Lefevere told Cyclingnews.

    Hello Tom!
Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.

    Hi!

    Okay...

Tom is not a sprinter and has not been for quite some time - unless the situation is like Gent-Wevelgem.
