in response to one tweet: '@TCorbett2908: You ask if I doped?? OK here is the answer. No I did not dope in the past, I dont do it now and not planing it in the future'

    Odious creature

    IMO

    I'm sure he's a lovely bloke.

I'm positive he's a lovely bloke as it's widely reported, and watching the teams parade down the Champs after this years tour, Jens was stopping every few metres to sign autographs and chat with fans. He stood out as pretty much the only one to do that. Is he odious because you suspect he doped and is therefore a liar? He is one of the few riders who's made it clear what he thinks of dopers as far as I'm aware?

There is a lovely pic of Jensie with Motoman (and Frank the Dope) in the exhibits to the Reasoned Decision. You could probably print it out and keep it in a frame next to your bed :lol::lol::lol: just joking! - I think Jens is tainted by association and he needs to do more to "clear" his name, like saying that "doped riders, such as Armstrong, are a disgrace etc etc "

He's done that already though... unfortunately the doped rider he said was a disgrace was Tyler Hamilton shortly after he opened his own can of worms. Seems that the only doped riders that get called out by some in the peleton are those that get caught by doping control (Ricco, Tyler and Floyd).

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

Contador points are interesting for their lack of: a. Ferrari involvement and b. Ferrari's opinion that he is guilty. Ferrari even says his results could have been spiked (imagine if Lance or Joahn organised this!).

so you missed the bit about ferrari saying bertie used clen and pvc blood bags.

    you do have selective reading.

interesting in the Hincapie afidavit he says he asked LA to introduce him to Ferrari not the other way round and so it was his decision to dope. He's gone down in my estimentation because of that

    Thanks Blazing.

Just reading CVV's statement and in there he says referring to CSC, 'outside the pressure of an organised team doping program'

Are you reading between the lines again, FF? If so perhaps you might find some specially designed specs useful.

    Gee wiz...

Samuel Sanchez, the 2008 Olympic road race champion, is among those supporting the American rider.

In a Spanish language television interview with The Associated Press before today's third stage of the Tour of Beijing, the Euskaltel-Euskadi rider says, "Until the contrary is proved, he remains innocent. Lance has overcome many controls and even until today he has never been found positive in any of them."

USADA released vivid details of the doping accusations, portraying Armstrong as a man who spared nothing to win the Tour de France seven times. The agency has ordered that Armstrong be stripped of those titles.

Why is the peleton afraid of talking out against Larry?

Dowsett and Sanchez's remarks this morning are effing remarkable. Are the peleton scared of talking out about LA? If so why?

Do more of the current peleton have doping skeltons that we are oblivious too?

This should have been the day when the game was up. When everybody came out and said, 'It's a fair cop guv.' Instead we have past riders and present riders tripping out the same BS as before. Sad.

People cheat on all levels, from local races to the pro stuff. People want to win something in life, to be known as an athlete, and many will do whatever it takes and risk it all to simply win or place highly in even a local or regional contest. I realize this is pretty obvious stuff but it shows that cheating will go on and on and on no matter what.
