He;s looking old, very old:'Performance analysis and Froome not being clean was a media driven story. I haven’t heard one guy in the peloton say a negative thing about Froome, and I haven’t heard a single person in the peloton suggest Froome isn’t clean.' TSP0

Fuck me. He looks like a man in his mid 40s.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0

Brilliant!
TBH they all look like something emerging from the pit in a DH Lawrence novel after races like P-R0 -
Will be interesting to see what happens to this EPO generation as they age. Will they all be gone by 60, or live to 120?
He doesn't look particularly old now. There's a lot of time in the sun, which won't have helped too.0 -
Worth a quick read:

Are we holding ageing against him too now?
I wasn't suggesting anything like that. If you compare pictures of him say 3 years ago to now, even after at the end of a ride, it is obvious that the current is taking it's toll.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Feds state that Armstrong made a $1.5m contribution to the hospital. A Doctor was then able to sign off his blood values as normal and state that there were no records of PED use.0 -
the donation story is pretty well known, although I can't see any link between the $1.5m donation and the hospital backing up his claims0
-
from what i've read, the donation was made a day or so after the doctors court appearance.--

Greys the 'public health' argument against doping a bit .0 -
It's come to something when Americans themselves use Lance Armstrong as a handy metaphor for cynical manipulation and cheating the authorities and public: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11880921/Made-in-Germany-lies-in-the-gutter-after-Volkswagen-caught-cheating.html
"The US press is already calling VW the 'Lance Armstrong' of the car market, an apt allusion to drug cheating in sport, and a deadly epithet in an industry where brand image and goodwill are the lifeblood of sales. "0 -

I'm sure that my Renault Clio isn't doing it ... it looks in amazement at those VWs as they pass going up the hills, seemingly hardly struggling at all with the gradient, while the Clio puffs and pants...0 -

Signed 2004 Lance Armstrong TDF jersey sells at auction for £150. Ouch!
I guess it doesn't matter how much you argue over the semantics of who did or didn't win those races the value of memorabilia is a bit of a litmus test on these things.0 -

Perhaps there is a little infamy in that value.

I'd have bought it for that and more. If its real that will be worth a lot more in the future. It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.0 -
