Pendleton's through, and the Australian whom IIRC they can't stand each other?

At a press conference a couple of days ago, the first question to Pendleton (from an Aussie hack) was "Do you think Anna Meares is a cow?"

Imagine you're that guy next to him, he looked like he was trying so so hard not to turn and start talking to him.

I was amused when Boardman said 'and we've had some information that Guo Shuang's name is correctly pronounced 'zow'. Porter then called her 'the chinese competitor' and later on 'gow shuang'.

What happens with the reperchage? So there are three rounds with 2 riders from each going through. Is the repechage the fastest loser race? how many places are there in the final?

The rival seem to me to be mainly sporting.

I don't think they especially get on, (nor do they not), but they're the two biggest riders and usually whoever wins between the two of them wins the whole thing.

Probably working on the "takes one to know one" principle!

Rick, I got the feeling there was no love lost from the recent documentary on VP. I think she holds a bit of a grudge that Mears used to bully her in races.

I think it's the winners of the two matches for the 4 fastest into gold medal match and fastest two of the rest go for bronze.

Should be one of the races of the whole games. GB have looked impressive, I think the Aussies have just done what is required.

I think the Aussies can find another couple of seconds off their time. But I reckon GB can too.

Hoy is in the keirin but the place in the men's sprint has been given to Kenny.

This is going on all weekend by the look of it. How is one to get anything done? Like going out on bike ride for instance?
